AnWmum~~ you naughty thing! telling them to keep it from each other, but I hope you have a lovely trip out, what film are you all going to see?

Agh but there is method in the madness :p they both went to sleep quickly and each thought they had a very exciting secret(which of course it was) from the other. We went to see Couldy with a Chance of Meatballs. They both really enjoyed it, taking drinks and sweets with us (from the Christmas stash!) meant it cost the princely sum of £2.85. Pity they don't let you do Orange Wednesday with it :rotfl:

I have an absolute horror of having workmen in the place ..... I was pretty much ready for the lunatic asylum by the end of it. ........... talking about total strangers in my home. AAARRRGGGHHH I can't bear the thought!:(

My friend's mum is the same about any workmen coming in the house, even the chaps to read the meters cause her to freak out. When they had their boiler replaced her DH briefed the men on their expectations ie keep mess to a minimum, tidy up at the end of each day, don't stray from where they are working etc. Is there any chance Mr LW could do this or what about you staying elsewhere whilst works are carried out?

Keys you mentioned that a naughty step for DD is not practical, we decided that we would have a naughty corner. It can be any corner anywhere ;) They had to stand (not sit) and face the wall until time out had passed. It was very effective for us and more importantly safe and can be used anywhere.

Have just checked to see if the car I am interested in is still available only to find it's not :( it's not on the web anyway so presume it is sold. Been looking for something similar in the same price bracket but not finding anything local.

But on the upside Miss A's denim jacket sold on ebay just now for the humongous price of .................... wait for it.............................................99p :rotfl::rotfl:

I've done the bedroom - and shopped, done some planning, entertained DS2 and friend... and gardened!!! It was bright and sunny although chilly.

Tomorrow we're off to St Omer for the day, really hoping the weather will stay nice, although we've not had two days the same recently.

MOAM - glad DH is home and doing well x

I went to the doctor's about my arm again today (it's only 21 months since I broke it after all!!) and now have some cream for the scar / nerves as they are apparently hypersensitive in places which accounts for the numbness in other places!

The other pain on around the other scar is probably due to the metal being so close to the skin and so not a lot I can do about that except for being careful not to rest on it awkwardly.

It seems that everything is pretty normal and that it could take years for things to settle down. (Oh, and he warned me again about early onset arthritis!) Thankfully, doctor wants to avoid removing the plates if at all possible.

Sorry :o No need to be scared unless you also managed to break both bones spectacularly resulting in a 3 hour operation to remove fragments and put 2 metal plates in place, leaving a total of 56 staples in 2 scars of roughly 4 inches each!!!!

I have put the towels, bath mats etc. in the wash and am really now going to bed xx

I just heard an almighty scream coming from the rabbits  i thought they were mute. I think one of them must have got her paw stuck trying to escape but by the time i got in there she'd got out. I've checked them both over and i can't see any damage and they're walking ok but it worried me.
I've never heard a rabbit scream but apparently it's bloodcurdling

Valli you are so funny! Finishing the days list at 12:24am!

Love and hugs Diva and Lady Liberty

Hugs Sexy, sorry about your nightmares. I’ve been having really disturbing dreams lately too, so can sympathise. It’s so bloomin exhausting isn’t it!

MOAM I hope those horrible crank calls stop, how scary. Have you reported to the police? What did BT say?

Catznine glad DD got the dress, how wonderful!

    Welcome newbies

Tooch, I love those stickers for your DD’s room, that’s how I would have my room if I lived alone! DH would move out though if I did that, so better not! LOL!

    Kazw congratulations

Sexy I hope you are feeling a bit better now. Glad you’ve got some AB’s hope they make you feel better and you don’t get the effects I had…although I didn’t have to stay upright after taking htem so hopefully they are a bit different

Tooch I hope you feel less sick now

Sunnygirl the kitten sounds lively. Hope your dd is better soon

Keys Supernanny sometimes uses a bean bag as a naughty step, or a chair, if the house doesn’t have suitable steps – I see others who actually have kids have given good suggestions

Grateful good news on the results

Valli hope you are better soon

Ishtar well done on the exercise and all you’ve done today

    Sunnygirl, gorgeous kitten!

Mumto5 hope your DB is better soon, my Nan has got an inner ear infection, and was v dizzy and sick last week. A bit better now I think

LW my mum always goes away while having work done, as she is disabled and can’t cope with builders. Would that be an option for you?

I've had a good evening, have had a bath, and am feeling much less nauseous now. Had some toast earlier. I think it's cos i forgot to have my tummy tablet y'day - silly girl. I had the other ones, but had to get a new packet of tummy ones out of the cupboard and didn't. That'll teach me!
I've done a bit more tidying, and some work too which is good. Really enjoyed watching Kirsty and Phil and New Tricks. Poor DH, I felt sorry for him missing football, but he would have missed it anyway if he'd gone out and it's only fair I get to watch my things occasionally!

Plans for tomorrow include: going for a walk, washing up, doing some of DH's accounts and a few other things.

I had a  thought earlier - seeing about Sexy's AB's reminded me that a few weeks ago when i was on them I had terrible diarrhoea. Would that affect the pill that I'm on? I would absolutely love to have a baby, but with the state of my health and our money situation it's a really bad idea so I hope I'm not expecting. DH would have a nervous breakdown! I'm sure it's ok, but of course now I've thought of it I can't stop thinking about it and wondering! Will have to get a test I spose. It was only a couple of days I was affected so it's probably fine, right?
