Evening all
Have only skim read as I've not long been back from the Smoke
Rosep - how nice of your new friend to offer to organise a working party!
sexym - glad the doctor managed to sort you out
greenbee - hope you knock the sore throat on the head without too much bother
Valli - Speed soup? The mind boggles
Well, London was reasonable today. Trains were on time though it was sardines on the train home until we got to Winchester but I did manage to get a seat. The sun was shining and the weather was pleasantly cool and London actually looked quite clean and nice. Caught the number 4 bus from Waterloo rather than the tube and it's a nice ride passed the law courts, St Pauls and the Barbican.
Training was tortuous. There were 17 of us and you always end up going at the pace of the slowest. But I've done it. And I'll be paid for it. And the travelling time. And will have the train fare reimbursed. Just need to wait for my identity card to turn up and then I can start interviewing people.
But, I've just had a rather delicious interlude with Gordon (I deserved it after the cattle truck that was the 17:05 from Waterloo) and am now going to forage for some dinner.
Flying? Pah - I might empty the kitchen bin...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Took DD swimming, opened a tin of soup for her when we got back, bunged some salmon in the oven for me, scoffed it(very yummy), put pj's on and skimmed the thread!!!
I have posted on freegle and freecycle for any Hannah Montana stuff(no harm in asking eh??). I checked the bank balance this morning and there is very liitle funds for anything at the mo. We do need some food in so what I do have will be used for that.
Soappie, glad London wasn't too bad xx
Hugs for all in need, sorry can't remember any more0 -

I seem to have some energy left ( probably due to the very little i did yesterday ) so i'm going to see if i can reduce my massive extras list a bit.
OH had a letter saying he was caught speeding 39 in a 30 zone. It said the name of the road which is in the next town, i thought it was the bypass but google said it was a side street. I looked in the residents handbook and it's neither google have got the name of a road wrong. I'm just glad it wasn't me driving his car, i was at the hairdressers at the time which i'd driven to in my car. :A0 -

If you click on the links bit on the picture it gives you options of where you want to post to like ebay etc . You then pick the one you want . I find the second one down the best .
You then copy this link and post it where you want people to view the pic
