There are some responsible people around. I once returned to my car to find an elderly gentleman standing between my car and his. He had waited quite a long time for my return to apologise. He had reversed into the front of my car cracking the number plate, and wanted to know how much to replace.

Since at the time the cost was only a few pounds, I thanked him for being honest and said I didn't want anything.

Actually I'm not that large and I do take responsibility for myself, I am employed and I don't damage other people's property.
