Sorry I should have put that I did get her details, she wasn't happy about giving them, she thought it was only minor damage and not worth worrying about.

minor damage maybe but its not the point, she whacked her door into yours so should pay up

I was parked in my car, waiting to pull out of my space whilst a rather 'large' lady tried to park next to me (why she didn't wait til I'd gone I'll never know) Well steering seemed to be 'impaired' as she drove in, and out, and in, and out of the space getting closer and closer to my new (to me) little fiat, before long we were almost touching at which point I wound down my window and shouted 'stop moving!' I then explained I would drive out of the space, thus leaving her to sort herself out, her response?? .....She laughed and laughed and said 'Oh I can't park for toffee, so make sure I only own old bangers' She couldn't see that damaging other peoples cars was an issue, even when I explained she nearly hit me
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
  • It's probably a fat person attitude, blames the whole world for her waist line, but won't take responsibility for it herself.!!!

Yeah. A bit like your judgmental attitude!!!!

Err, why are you replying to your own post? You just did this in another thread...

Edit: Oh I get it now, you're trying to quote someone else but not quite doing it right. ;)

Even damage that looks minor can cost a lot of money to put right. A skip lorry dented and scratched the door of my old car and it cost over £350 to put right, and that was about 10 years ago.
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

In the last 18 months this has happened twice to me - both times I don't think the door bashers saw me sitting in the car in the passenger seat.

First time it was a young lad, I wound down the window and told him it was a good job I didn't love my car and he should be more careful in future - he was suitably sheepish.

The second time it was a young girl who was walking away when I challenged her, she tossed a casual sorry over her shoulder, when I told her to be more careful she said 'I said I was sorry' in an amazed voice as if everything was now ok.

Both bashes were hard but not hard enough to make any discernably new dents in my already bashed and old car :o

Oh, in case we're keeping track they were both thin

  • Make sure you pursue this. If she has to pay her excess fee and lose her no claims bonus then she will have less money for pies and burgers.

Fat, inconsiderate "I'm-big-so-I-can't-walk-more-than-20-paces-otherwise-I-might-break-into-a-sweat" member of the public. Probably unemployed and on benefits, thereby soaking up all my taxes.........
  • I am guessing she saw you take the slot and got revenge by doing that to your car, but she didn't expect you to be back so fast.
