HI I have never been in this section before,so sorry if this has been said before.
My step daughter got a job in a customer care centre last week,it was answering calls from buyers off this website
www.buymobilephones.net
they offer free tvs wiis laptops etc with contracts, but all the calls she got were pople complaining they hadnt received thier gifts. She was told to give any excuse for them not being in stock, from a list of excuses:eek:
needless to say she left the same day!:rotfl:

Whilst they actually have a decent reputation spanning a few years there are worrying signs that lately they are palying games. several people on here (including me!) have been "turned down" by the network when (in fact) the network was never asked and we/I we were fully eligible for additional contracts (these were free cashback deals). A few people have also appeared on the relevant threads complaining about the difficulty in getting their free gifts. Warning signs for a small outfit which shouldn't be ignored by prospective customers.0

mj will steer away from, thanks. What is your experience with Beepy?0 -
A company I have no experience with but wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Of the two, stick with Buymobilephones!0

I recently changed contracts and buymobilephones looked good. I decided to go with them via quidco for cashback and free gift as the tariff was £7 a month cheaper than I am on at the moment. I must say it did take 4 weeks but I did get the gift i requested plus I have £25 validated through quidco so I am happy0

I ordered 2 x phones from Beepy and the free gifts did arrive exactly as stated in their T and Cs. Normally you do have to wait for freebies as they want you to be with the network provider for at least a month (so that you dont return it and still get a freebie!). Or until you get your first bill and pay it vis DD. Alex.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

Oh noooo
I've got a new phone contract with Orange through buymobilephones.net and went for it specifically to get a free laptop. So far, no laptop has arrived and when I e-mailed them they said they no longer do the laptop that I had ordered and offered me a replacement (which was no where near the spec of the one I ordered).
I have since e-mailed them saying the replacement they offered was not suitable and suggested other laptops (from there website) that would be. We haven't heard anything from them since then.
Gaaaah, I'm really concerned now. In order to get the laptop for free with the contract we went for a slightly higher tariff than we needed so essentially we will be paying for it in the long term.0 -
Is anybody else awaiting a free gift from them at the moment?0

Hi all
Slightly concerned now. Just went for a £15 a month T-mobile 2 year deal £60 phone with this site with free wii, wii fit plus and balance board.
As soon as I placed the order I got an email back saying there is a delay processing the order. Not a good start!
Also I find out you have to send in photocopies of passport/drivers license/visa card etc to claim free gift.
Surely that's open to getting your details used/stolen?
Anybody had success with this kind of deal?

I found that if you faxed them you get a response so give that a try. Mine took some time but I did get what I wanted luckily. maybe I was just lucky0
