  • Helen01234 - Think a toyshop is going to be my long term goal, but would like to have enough in the bank to get setup and be able to cover the first 3-4 months bills as a cushion, don't want to find I have troubles in the first few months, think things will be hard enough to get going without the added stress.

Commitment wise - please can you tick toyshop pricing, and have done £60 worth of offers on Quidco, but won't count them until they are payable, btw Lovefilm are offering £22 for taking a free trial atm.

Nixi- hope you get it sorted what a nightmare :-/ feel free to rant anytime you want.

HH it's fine asking people to check out your site but be a bit careful offering discounts as that could be construed as advertising and we don't want you getting kicked off.

Good news - been to vets with old cat, weight is stable at 3.6kg (yay) so no blood tests needed and we've been upgraded from healthcare plan basic to senior healthcare plan which does cost an extra £6 per month but I save £10 per month on old cat's tablets and get one kidney blood test free per year and 20% free off whatever else she may need if she gets ill with owt else

Neverindebt - That was uncalled for we are all trying to help each other here as the 'regs' don't have a problem with it don't see why you should! On saying that though seem from your last few posts you like having a pop at people.

Nixxi - Would it be worth going to CAB and talking to them Rehab is not my field but I have never heard of someone having to pay for hospital referred rehab, has there not been crossed wires anywhere? It is alot of stress to have on your shoulders and not very nice is they are constantly harassing you. Isn't a crisis loan the one you don't pay back or is that the social fund? I am lost. Perhaps have a ring round rather than going to Que, i am sure after an explanation someone will help.

After contacting ebay they have come back to me and told me item is not permitted, yet the page they have directed me too says nothing of the sort lol so no further on that but best not risk it just in case!

    I dribble and I'm proud

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
  • nixinixi - forgot to mention, giros are made in your dads name so prob wouldn't let you cash it, you might get lucky and get £150. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

There is a way to do it, I think! Quidco and topcashback are offering £40 cashback on payday loans, would pay same day and £40 cashback would more than cover the interest, if it was upto £175 I think. Don't approve of them, but if they are offering money for them, then suppose it is ok. hth

ETA: agree with shell, def talk to CAB and see if they can offer better advise!

  • Thank you for your concern, folks, but I think we can make up our own minds on people's motives. If you have an issue with them, please take it elsewhere, as it is distracting from the real purpose of this thread.
  • Amber, you are really getting into this "head honcho" boss role aren't you! Agreed, someone needs to say it, this is a money making thread, no b***chig here (well, not towards each other anyway, OH's and life are the only exceptions!)
