Woo my retail therapy went great. Annoyed the woman in DP though as I used my student ID and gift vouchers hehe. Got a lovely smart waterfall waistcoat type thing (in the sale!!!) so it'll go great for my college interveiw and also back to work clothes! Still got half my vouchers left too.
And with all my bodyshop goodies I feel like the cat that got the cream!

Having another eBay listing session later me thinks.

On downside to today, I fell down the stairs last night and must have pulled something in my shoulder. Ouch!

    I've replied :D

That scarf is gorgeous! Not sure I'm quite up to doing something like that, so good luck!!

Nor am I, but I tend to have a crack at things and see how they turn out. I love freeform crochet too, so once I'm up to speed I'll give that a go as well. There's the flitting from thing to thing part of me again...

munchki, had another idea for you! Lots of people on Folksy and Misi have truly rubbish banners (me included, but there are lots with banners more rubbish than mine). Might be worth a punt at going through the shops and PMing anyone with a rubbish banner and offer them a design. If you did something quite simple and didn't charge too much then I bet you could make a bit of spare cash quite easily.
  • Hello everyone I'm back!

Sorry I have been away for a while but got so behind with paperwork for work and we are going to be Ofsteded anytime :(

Been ebaying everything , DD old toys, books, car parts from garage, you name it and I ebayed it... and reached my total of £2,500 for my new to me car!!! Yey *runs around room waving hands in the air*:j I have put a deposit on one today and will pay the balance off on Sat when I pick it up. I also picked up hints off the old style board for meal planning and saved a lot of money from that too.

I have missed sooo many pages but hugs to anyone that needs them, and well done to everyone that is still going on the challenge. I couldn't keep up with selling stuff like that all the time I made myself poorly doing it but needed a car for work. At least the house is tidy now ;)

Will go and try to catch up now I have only just started the new thread!

Sorry for such a long post xxx

WOW well done you!!! That's great news :T Thanks for your update - that's very inspiring and motivational. It shows what can be achieved with less posting/ reading on here and more action - i think i'll try to follow in your footsteps. Congrats :T

    I'm stunned and in awe.
Good luck with the ofsted. It is a really stressful time isn't it.
Glad you popped back on here to update us and looking forward to hearing tales of the car.
