  • It was originally the dos-a-dos yes!!! But I made the fatal mistake of going into her shop and now I'm drooling all over the keyboard! They're gorgeous!

Who was it that loved Alice in Wonderland?? If you can stand the thought of spending all your hard earned cash, I'd suggest that her shop might be right up your street!! (The Gift Shed on Etsy)

Ooops sorry Saucy, I'm being a traitor!!! :o

  • Glad to help! East Anglia it's either rain, or fog and rain, sleet and rain, or very overcast. It's March tomorrow and no sign of improvement *sigh*
Need to go to some carboots to get some stock! Might have a look to see if there are any jumble sales coming up.

    Hello everyone I'm back!

Sorry I have been away for a while but got so behind with paperwork for work and we are going to be Ofsteded anytime :(

Been ebaying everything , DD old toys, books, car parts from garage, you name it and I ebayed it... and reached my total of £2,500 for my new to me car!!! Yey *runs around room waving hands in the air*:j I have put a deposit on one today and will pay the balance off on Sat when I pick it up. I also picked up hints off the old style board for meal planning and saved a lot of money from that too.

I have missed sooo many pages but hugs to anyone that needs them, and well done to everyone that is still going on the challenge. I couldn't keep up with selling stuff like that all the time I made myself poorly doing it but needed a car for work. At least the house is tidy now ;)

Will go and try to catch up now I have only just started the new thread!

Sorry for such a long post xxx

WOW!!! well done! spill the secret!
Oh, and good luck with the ofsted!!!

Ok, I cracked and looked. I love her Shakespeare notebooks, but as a genealogist I want to cry over her books that she has made out of mortgages, indentures, wills, etc. There could be descendants out there who would kill for those intact and readable (cry). By all means rescue books that are destined for landfill but please don't destroy historical documents!
  • I'll you know when they have been - as a new tutor I am finding it quite hard to keep up with things but it's all part of the learning curve!

Yes I agree! They're gorgeous, but those documents should be safely tucked in up in somebodys family history box! I'd kill for something like that!

  • Manbury - Citroen C3 diesel in wait for it Mauve! I like all shades of purple too. Does 60 miles to the gallon so should save some money in the long run. DH has said it's a girly colour and has said he won't drive it ... every cloud and all that. Also I have threatened to put eyelashes on it see this ebay item 260538502437 they go over the headlights!! :rotfl:

    I think I am having a mid-life crisis
    :D

Toots - I know amazing isn't? DD had a large box full of bits and pieces that I used to buy from car boots when she was little. We packed them away about 4 years ago and forgot about them, she didn't want them and said I could have them to my car fund. Sorted them out into lots and sold them all over the world!!! I guess I am an international business woman now!! (sounds posh!)
