Bank Account - has anyone set up a seperate bank account for this? I know you can get paid to setup A&L but I already have one, any other good suggestions?

I seem to recall sing that HSBC might be doing one (may have been direct or via a cashback site)

Hi Frugalist and welcome :-) No helpful ideas I'm afraid but welcome :-) best bet is to read back over the threads (when you have a few spare weeks) as there is loads of info scattered throughout them (and a lot of dribble as well)

Hello all, have been reading this thread for ages but putting ideas together before sticking up a post, have some ideas but wanted some help with a few of them if possible...

Obviously I want to raise as much as possible with the £100 I Invest but first I want to raise the £100 (effectively meaning its £10k from £0) so I am off to raid the Shed and look for old mobiles to sell to get some initial money in.

Bank Account - has anyone set up a seperate bank account for this? I know you can get paid to setup A&L but I already have one, any other good suggestions?

Blog - also keen to setup a blog to document my progress (parallel to here) and to hopefully give others inspiration, can anyone suggest a good website to use?

Web Design - One of my ideas is to raise enough to invest in an Adobe Course and enhance my web design skills, I know quite a few people that would be willing to pay me to design a site for them in my spare time and have some family friends to build up the portfolio.

Quick Buck - Any ideas that can help me raise the initial £100, matched betting, current bingo offers?

Thanks for any help offered, will be around alot :D

Welcome, get an account through quidco or topcashback should make a start on your £100.

Matched betting is good if you know what you are doing, I don't therefore I leave well alone.

Ebay! Ebay! Ebay! anything and everything every penny counts.

    Good Luck x

Munchki if you have to come up to Dundee wednesday or thursday give me a shout and i'll nip upto Dundee and have a coffee with you in the evening if you dont want to be on your own worrying about your interview.

am not going to join commitments this week, am needing a bit if a breather. but still got ebay, cleaning, no orders for cakes this week (so far!) breather huh!

Saucy - cant wait to see the notebooks am sure they will be stunning!

Skintbint - I am keeping fingers, toes and eyes crossed that they want to interview me. If so will of course let you know if I am going to be there and when. If I get the interview have a few probs to figure out but if it is meant to be it will be lol and thank you!

  • Just remembered I have around £50 in my spare change pot so thats half of my starter figure sorted.

Found a mobile phone its a Blackberry 7100g but the sites are only offering £1 for it! Ebay is maybe an option

Keen to get my blog setup tonight, any suggestions from people that have looked into it?
