Just sold 2 ebay items-one to Australia and one to the Netherlands so I am now an international business woman!
  • @moneymabel, soon you'll have your own multi-national corporate business with offices in New York, hehe :)

I'm gonna try and start small with selling some books on ebay! Most of my stuff is in storage at the moment!

I was thinking that, what with the invites and the cakes and jewellery, it could be great! I didn't get very far simply because I got distracted by other things (mostly Ebay) - but I didn't really need instructions in the end, and think it could be a good venture once I get some money back behind me - it's all been siphoned into family stuff atm, but I remain optimistic lol!
In the middle of writing this I was (very) proudly presented with the biggest poo in the world, courtesy of the two year-old....lovely! sure you want kids Em? :)
I haven't been forced to clean toilets by the way...have found out about somewhere I can go for careers advice, and am feeling a lot better about my prospects. Thank you everyone that gave advice this morning, it helped to calm me down!

    Oh and welcome back MMTWGR!:j:T

Ooh, so am I then! Nice one. I sold a pair of platform trainers to someone in Las Vegas whose name sounded like they were either a club singer or a transvestite :rotfl:oh and they were new!! Have had three messages about my well-worn shoes now, all of them disappointingly un-pervy.

will get some things together at the weekend and could open a folksy (is it easy to do? am bit if a technophobe)
was looking to do a website with cakes so could add cake accesories but have no idea where to start so will make that my project for saturday when have the house to myself. dreadful cant switch off since joined this site, me supposed to be taking a breather too!

thanks shell was joking at work because my cakes are individual (one at the weekend guy works in Tesco moved into a new flat so had a guy sitting with paint pot in one hand, tin of tennants lager in other with tesco carrier bag full of tennants tins and ikea packaging lying about) was going to call it "personally yours"
