    It's quite an eye-opener doing this challenge. Absolutely none of my friends or family appear to want to help at all. Nobody is interested in buying a book (even the 99p ones), one friend made a catty remark about having been there done that years ago blah blah blah, nobody is interested in a reflexology, everybody mocks/ laughs at my ideas... They say things like 'oh that again'. Don't get me wrong, i don't expect my friends to form my client base really, but i think if the shoe was on the other foot i'd at least have bought a cheap book to show some support - or if i couldn't afford that i'd be saying 'oooh how's the business / money making going? anything i can do' blah blah blah. It's amazing how when things are going badly, they're all there to hear the gossip but when i'm making a success out of something (well nearly) they show no interest whatsoever. It's been like it all the way through! It makes me want to fly off somewhere and email a photo giving them the Vs! Sorry to offload my dribble!
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    Em - think we are all up against that your in no way alone and it is really demoralising at times especially as you would be the one to support them in anythign they tried- have a friend whose unemployed and always moaning about not having money but she's the first to open her mouth and let her belly rumble and criticise what i am doing - i no longer tell her anything as i would end up telling her to go to Falkirk so we'll give you the support you need, and stuff them

    Don't worry about it, just think about how you'll spend your extra money :D you're also learning lots through it, and experiencing stuff you might not have done if you hadn't taken up the challenge. You don't need their support anyway, you've got ours! So ner :p

    Hello all, have been reading this thread for ages but putting ideas together before sticking up a post, have some ideas but wanted some help with a few of them if possible...

    Obviously I want to raise as much as possible with the £100 I Invest but first I want to raise the £100 (effectively meaning its £10k from £0) so I am off to raid the Shed and look for old mobiles to sell to get some initial money in.

    Bank Account - has anyone set up a seperate bank account for this? I know you can get paid to setup A&L but I already have one, any other good suggestions?

    Blog - also keen to setup a blog to document my progress (parallel to here) and to hopefully give others inspiration, can anyone suggest a good website to use?

    Web Design - One of my ideas is to raise enough to invest in an Adobe Course and enhance my web design skills, I know quite a few people that would be willing to pay me to design a site for them in my spare time and have some family friends to build up the portfolio.

    Quick Buck - Any ideas that can help me raise the initial £100, matched betting, current bingo offers?

    Thanks for any help offered, will be around alot :D
