So, I have been busy busy since yesterday - building links re my sweets / wedding favours website, creating a blog for my barefoot books, making a justgiving page for the Race for Life, listing a speculative item on misi, putting more stuff on ebay - and - I have been left standing! A new thread, no idea what I have missed!

Dillidalli, are you on misi too? If so, my one little item that I have listed is in your field, by the looks of it. Love your website, your stuff is amazing. The site I am building will not be a patch on it.

My barefoot blog is, finally, started. Any barefoot bods can take a look, its called trulybarefoot, not v original, lol.

My 9 yr old daughter and I are going to do the Race for Life 5k in June for Cancer Research. I set up a page for people to donate / sponsor us, its a great idea, on justgiving - I am only mentioning this so that any of you who do any kind of charity fundraising know about it. Instead of going round everyone with a sponsor sheet, you can just tell people, I put it on my facebook and will email it round at work. You might know about it already but I have just found it!

    xx

  • I shall leave you tonight with this observation - has anyone noticed that in 12 hours we have about 3 times as many posts as the 'official' thread has managed in a few weeks? Maybe they're all quietly getting on with their own challenges, but there doesn't appear to be much in the way of sharing ideas and support ... oh well, good luck to them anyway!

I'm near Chester Hun - they were at the empire tho - it was great I'd go to a theatre concert again - much better than an arena concert - and JLS were fantastic!!!

Ikkle - I so so want a nice painting thing of my kids. The youngest has monkey genes actually.

The painting I did of my friend's kids must be on the hard drive I can't access right now, so afraid I can't show you it. But instead here's a painting I did of my hubby before we were married (the weird area on his neck was fixed after scanning LOL)

Ohhh Ikkle I would love a pic of my two if I could just capture then together ......... lol

No need to get them together. A few pics of each of them, can then be manipulated together after the effect. :)

My "specialty" in painting is actually landscapes, (here's my most recent: http://pics.livejournal.com/ikkleosu/pic/0011fg1z ) so I'm thinking once I get my website up, I will have pets as the main page and then have another page with different art stating that I will accept commissions for other art too. keep my options open.
