on its way!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Morning everyone.
Munchki - woohoo for the form being almost done.
Plans today are plan, plan and then plan some more. I have my neuro consultant at 3pm. 3pm parking at Ninewells. The joys!!!MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Paulabear - try freecycle for a pasta machine. I'd imagine it's the sort of thing people think is a great idea and use once or twice then go back to buying from the shop, so you might get lucky and get one for nothing.
We're not going to let you give up, so just don't go there!0 -
Ive emailed you back Munchki-it looks great hun!!
i quite like the name poo exploder for a rat :-) lol
Today I am going to:- Have breakfast!....Do my wii active workout...list on Ebay...update blog with Dillis invitations...er...that will do!!0 -
GOOD LUCK MUNCHKI.... i have a good feeling about this one.....LilacPixie wrote: »Mr Site pee's me off. I seem to wrestle with it daily
thats not what I need to hear!!!I am doing the pet pics thing. (I thought I'd seen you mention it but couldn't remember where. LOL )
I have done kids in the past, but I do find them much harder to capture (or I'm harder on myself, not sure which). But I'd give it a go on a no-like, no-fee basis, if you want. I'll find the painting I did of my friend's kids to show you.
fancy a pic of a couple of rats to add to your portfolio??!!! I can't afford to pay you but you are more than welcome to use it (not give it to me, just use it as another pic....)
Paulabear - I know its hard, but you need to think positively about this.... The kids will be fine in nursery, they will have a great time..... Talk to the job centre about doing a course, it might help...... Have you investigated what difference going SE would make to your tax credits? You obviously wouldn't make much money to start with so you might get an increase there?? Don't let the OH get to you... he might be feeling carp about giving up smoking but there is no excuse to talk to you like that..... I get the feeling he needs a kick up the bum.... Can you go and stay with family/friends for a few days over half term? A bit of a break might just make you feel better..... Oh, I;ve just thought... if you can't find work at the moment ask the job centre about benefits and volunteering. A voluntary position will help with your cv and help to boost your confidence as well.... I realise childcare is an issue but its worth asking the question!!
Saucy - if the uni give you grief about resigning your place tell them you will go to the local press, local education authority ( I presume they are still involved in further education) etc etc about 'IT' next door.... oh, and report her to the police every time you can.... they will soon get something done about it!!! Just think, in a few months time you will be in Spain, new course (which sounds fab!) without the inlaws and making a killing from your notebooks!!! Did you contact the website tat is interested in your work???? might have speed read that one a bit too quick!!
well this morning I shall mostly be looking after SIl's two.... god help me. They are not bad kids, just when my two get together with them all hell breaks loose.... I will probably build an anderson shelter in the garden and go and hide until its safe to come out!! If they go home early enough then we will go and pick up the rats!! So excited!!
Other than that I am going to TRY to get some more kids clothes pics taken for ebay, oh and a trip to the PO as well......
GOOD LUCK for all those experiencing the inconvenience that is half term... may your mayhem be slight and your mood calm....

I'm not giving up, I'm just flailing. And possibly bipolarand I love the name poo exploder! I have had guinea pigs called Chicken, Lettuce, and Wobble; and hamsters called Biff and RaRa. The current gerbils are Ben 10 and Batman, DS chose those though :rotfl:

Morning Dribblers,
Munchki, Glad you have it all sorted, everything is crossed for you. x
Ikkle - I love your paintings they really are brilliant.
Paula - Chin up, they can't MAKE you take a job cleaning toilets, it has to be financially viable. They will try and talk the talk though, Had the same nightmare with OH who has recently just found a job (thank god) everything they came up with just wasn't worth while. Although they did offer him a college course (vocational level 2 and some level 3 free if it is your first) Not sure how it stands if you have a degree though, ask though you never know.
As for me think I will put a few more bits on ebay, then got to visit family and get some shopping in, not much on the money saving/making front today xTurn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 Member!Total so far = 0I dribble and I'm proud

Mambury and shell, thank youI feel a bit better and yes he does need a kick up the bum
I will ask about voluntary courses thanks, and not let them fob me off with anything if I don't have to; confidence, damnit! I needs it.
The kids love nursery and I think the one they were in was amazing, but last time I asked they didn't have a place for the youngest so we might have to take them elsewhere; mind you, it might be nearer I guess, so that would be easierI'm going to look into voluntary places that might help me do occupational therapy or charity work, I think; and I'm not sure about registering as self-employed as I haven't sold anything I've made yet, although I do need to sort tax out for the things I've bought and sold for a profit on Ebay
Good luck Munchki! And everybody else on getting their commitments done :TI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0
