When did Loancheck start charging for auditing documents or do they just charge for PPI reclaiming?

The only complaint I can have against Loancheck is the time they had my documentation for (nearly 2 years) then it got passed to Black Knight, so I don't know if that complaint counts?
I cannot find anything at the moment BUT on Legal beagles it mentions it in this posting here

As regards you complaint Pinknico, if you on about MSE investigations then anything good or bad is what they are after. I would certainly give them some details of your claim as that is what they are after. I think they will glad of anyone like yourself as you have been quite informative in the past.;)

I thought you posted to show that Mr Lindon was highlighting problems within the claims industry. That is how I read it... sorry if I mis judged you Gunforhire.

I would think that this is not the fault of Mr Lindon or anyone else in that the MOJ etc have not actually done anything about and it is 6 years later. That is where the problem lies BUT still does not take away from the fact that companies have abused clients in all of this thought does it and will continue to do so until something is done.

Why would anything be the fault of this Mr Lindon, Marshallka?

Hi boppy, when you say statute barred are you meaning cause of your complaint getting through the courts. As far as FOS are concerned (and the courts as far as i am aware) there is a 3 year and 6 year rule. It is 3 years from when you should have been aware of a problem and 6 years from when the problem occured BUT this can be overcome I thought by section 32 limitations act (and FOS also look at it this way) in that if you only just became aware of the problem (like with PPI cause of media attention) then you still have a chance. Perhaps someone else will confirm this to you.

Also boppy, how did you come to go with PIL? Most probably not from here as you have only just posted but in what way were you misled by them? Can you say anything on here that might help others.

    Hi Marshallka
thanks for info re FOS and time lines ....will be useful if my claim gets returned to me from Dawson Hart
In reply to your question re how I heard of PIL ....it was many many nights of reading posts so took th plunge and I contacted petermb via PM for help and this was in April 2008!!!
as i said a long time stalker before actually posting LOL!!!

I do feel I was misled by PIL in relation to the time frame from beginning to end ie 9-12 months and also how all 3 of my claims were most definatley looking favourable to getting my money back plus more besides as per petermb's expertise
also at the time I believed it was more difficult to fight myself as one of claims is with first national bank now GEMoney and the feedback seemed to be they were and remain exceptionally difficult to fight succesfully...I now realize with the help and support from fellow posters on here I would have been better tackling them as the claim is for frontloaded PPI however Dawson Hart are still trawling the way thru this under CFA despite PIL & loancheck dissolving but they are still not able to give me a possible and hopefully sucsessful end date .

My advice to others......there are many talented posters on this thread who have been succesful thru determination blood sweat and probably countless tears... and their support and advice is second to none ....so the answer is believe in yourself ..accept the offers of help and don't let the B*******'s grind us down!!!

I thought you said you were "not congratulating him" for wanting to highlight the problems within the claims industry in a negative way and I was just saying that it was actually no-ones fault that things continued the way they have other than MOJ etc allowing it.

Personally I would think that someone wanting change within this industry needs congrats. From posts on here and other forums its a mess. Clients have been left dangling on a string and data is not back with them. This industry needs change and it may happen now with Cartel being investigated.

There have been some negative posts before about this person that you mentioned for some reason.

Glad you are getting there then. I know someone else has a complaint with Dawson hart so may be along to post to you. IF they are not able to help for any reason then maybe the FOS would be able to help you. If you need any help in that direction then come back and loads on here would try to help. Don't give up.

    Good luck

Have today received a letter from SRA Complaints service who are in receipt of my complaint about my Solicitor. They are sending a copy of my complaint to the Solicitor for his explanation. Hopefully they will have more luck than me.

My other Solicitor that has been proceeding quite quickly seems to have gone very quiet. Have written asking for them to tell me exactly where they are up to. Otherwise I feel another complaint letter coming on.

The other one was assigned a Barrister wasn't it? I cannot believe that they are not responding now either. Are "any" solicitors actually working!! Seems like they have all gone asleep for a while.

If it were me and they would not speak or return calls I think I would tell a little porky when ringing and pretend it is new business for them or say it is about an bill that you feel you have "under paid on"!!! Might get a response then.

LOL bet that will get them running to the phone. Or I could pretend I am a journalist:eek:
