Well done to Mr Lindon then for writing the article and wanting something done about it. Thanks for posting that. Its just that its taken another 6 years!!

I certainly wasn't trying to congratulate Mr Lindon! The point was that six years on the situation smells just as bad as it did when TAG, claims direct, ivaro et al went to the wall.

    Hi maxdp

Black Knight took it from Watsons stating they weren't acting in my best interests, which breaches the code of conduct and gave it to Stokes & Co. They are asking me to sign a new CFA which means I am not tied in legally with them. I wrote to Black Knight and they assured me that I owe them nothing, so that just leaves Watsons. I wrote to them cancelling my contract and then again quoting what Black Knight told me and stated if I didn't hear back in 7 days I will take it he is agreeing to the contract being terminated. Suprise suprise, I never heard back. I also got it in writting from Stokes and Black Knight that Watsons should not pursue me for any money, and that if he did, they would ensure that I did not have to pay it. Obviously they will not do that now, but when I saw Citizen Advice they instructed me to write to him stating what I did so hopefully it is enough.
I wondered how you had managed to get out of Watsons. I am glad that Black Knight actually put it in writing about not owing any money to Watsons. Seems like your case was never worked on at all then. I just hope you win Paul cause I know what you paid in PPI and it was very unfair and you are a genuine claimer in this and it is plain to see to everyone. Firstplus policies are a complete and utter rip off and as with myself we found out after settling our loan early just how much of a rip off they really are.

I thought you posted to show that Mr Lindon was highlighting problems within the claims industry. That is how I read it... sorry if I mis judged you Gunforhire.

I would think that this is not the fault of Mr Lindon or anyone else in that the MOJ etc have not actually done anything about and it is 6 years later. That is where the problem lies BUT still does not take away from the fact that companies have abused clients in all of this thought does it and will continue to do so until something is done.

Was Watsons the only solicitors that Loancheck passed cases to?

Do we know how these other solicitors are treating their clients?

I'm just curious to know if any case has progressed from loancheck to solicitor to succesful conclusion?

Maxdp had one progress from Watsons and then Dawson Hart has been mentioned and also Heenans solicitors and Stokes and Co.

When did Loancheck start charging for auditing documents or do they just charge for PPI reclaiming?

The only complaint I can have against Loancheck is the time they had my documentation for (nearly 2 years) then it got passed to Black Knight, so I don't know if that complaint counts?
