LOL - our group of friends all found the exact opposite!!!
I have daughter and she leaked with Huggies and my best friend had a boy at the same time and he leaked with Pampers....something to do with the positioning of the winkle and the Huggies made it much better for boys but left girls sopping (and vice versa of course)...I only used Huggies if I was desperate and used the freebies I had lying around but it was only to get me to the shop for Pampers.......so it was Pampers all the way for me and if I ever had another I would just go straight to them0 -
Depends on the shape of your baby.. skinny babies seem to do better in huggies and chunkier babies in pampers..
Personally.. washable all the way..
My daughter was (and still is) very slender and 'straight up and down' and Huggies made her wet and gave her nappy rash
Poor OP - totally conflicting views!!!! What about buying a small pack of each (not very MSE I know but will be in the long run;)) and try them both out...or see if you can blag some freebies...I used to phone Pampers up now and again and praise their things and they always sent a voucher as a thank you;) (and if you phone Heinz and complain about the baby food not coming out of clothes then they send enough vouchers to jar/tin feed for a week!!)0 -
Between the two I'd pick Huggies but Aldi's nappies are better than Huggies and Pampers by a mile. They never leak and are only £5.99 for a jumbo pack.0

Out of the 2 I usually buy whichever is on offer, but my choice would be Huggies. I find there is a smell from Pampers.0

I'm afraid I disagree I think Aldi own brand are one of the worst we've tried, closely followed by Asda and then Tesco.
Morrisons own brand are about the best we find.0 -
Huggies when he was tiny, now Pampers because he's a pudding and they are a wider fit, wheras Huggies are thinner in width.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

I think it depends on the baby i personally have always found pampers better until they started getting about then it was huggies all the way. Yet a friend of mine always swore by huggies for her two all the way through i only ever tried tesco ones on my new bubs and just couldnt get on with on them they seemed to be the wrong shape for him. I would get a pack of each see how you get on then buy in bulk once you know what you like :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I had the same experience...

Like some other posters have said I think it depends from baby to baby what suits them best. I tried both huggies and pampers with my boys are we settled on pampers. I personally found that huggies leaked alot, again might of been the shape as both my boys were skinnies lol. I have stocked up on pampers and huggies this time round, again freebies lol will see what suits best and go from there x0

Huggies all the way. I have two boys who both got horrendous nappy rash with pampers, plus they become so bulky when wet compared with Huggies.
Both my boys were chunky monkeys and never any leaks0
