Hooped petticoat?

LOL...sorry about that! Incidentally its a lot funnier when you HAVE had alcohol, trouble was, we were all laughing so much reversing the bride into the cubicle and then very unceremoniously hitching up the hoop so all that was visible was her legs that we all needed to pee after that too.0

Don't forget that hoop or not, reversing in is the way to go!0

I helped both my cousins go for a wee on their wedding days, it was hilarious and a real bonding moment. It now feels like a family tradition. :rotfl:
I don't remember either of them having a hoop but I was looking in the other direction.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

Just an update and another question for Linda. I have my dress but its impossible for me to get a photo in it...have to wait for my daughter to come round. Its a heavy polyester satin with a fitted waist and a box pleated full skirt. Underneath the dress there is a full length petti with a layer of net around the bottom and on top of that is another full net petti. Now I've tried the dress on I could just about get away with not adding another petticoat but I just feel it needs "something" to help it keep its shape...I wanted to avoid using a hoop but now I'm wondering if I am going to have to. I'm about a size 14 and although I want a full skirt I don't want it enormous.
Also - will a hooped (or jupon) petti make the length much shorter? I would say the dress is about an inch too long for me as it is and if I can avoid having to take it up then it would be an added bonus0 -
Hi May. If there is substantial underskirting but you just need to give it some 'umpf' have look at a Jupon 133, a single hoop petticoat.

You may find this lifts the dress about 1" but obviously will have to try for more of a precise measurment.
