Hi, all Ebayers.
I do hope this thread continues.
Here's a feedback recieved recently.arrived in post thanks
People are sooooo funny.
Perhaps it'll encourage others to make some even funnier requests of us all."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
A while back I had a buyer who was interested in a bundle of clothes I was selling. I got an email saying as she was a single Mum and money was tight she couldn't afford the postage and would I be able to deliver them to her. She lived in Manchester and I'm in Newcastle! Oh and she couldn't afford to pay me anything!
Ive also had all the usual ones where people don't read the description. For example: Is it new? (Well its listed as used!)0 -
1. "Hi your pink fridge that you're selling-is it red?"
2. "will the mirror fit in my car"- I had no idea what car-they never said but I was tempted to answer with-"yes-it fits in mine"
3."why can't you sell me that vase for £3 because I bought one off someone else this week-different colour, size, make-for £3"
4. "I like your curtains-where did you get them from"-which could be seen in the item photo:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
I don't sell things but it annoys me when I read other peoples questions and someone asks,
"What's the least you'll take for the item", It's an auction so obviously they want the most they can get for their item not the least.

This has to be added to the list I recieved it yesterday on a multiple item buy it now listing that I am running.
"How much did you pay for these how many did you have to buy wholesale for any discounts and who did you buy them off?
Thanks in advance"

kiwi_fruit wrote: »One of my recent ones- I was selling something that I didn't want to post ouside the UK, so it states in the listing "post to: United Kingdom", then in big red letters in description itself it states "shipping within the UK only, no exceptions", and just incase I blocked international bidders from buyer settings too(just as well!),
so I get a message from Italian ebayer saying he tried to bid on my item three times(!) trying both of his accounts(!), and ebay doesn't let him, can I do something about it. !!!!!!!
I was selling some bags recently and despite my listing clearly stating PLEASE NOTE I WILL ONLY POST TO THE UK I had at least a dozen questions on one of them from people asking me how much to post to Germany. In the end I got so fed up I agreed to post it there. Every bid I had was from a German buyer!0 -
I was recently selling an item £30 BIN but it is worth about £40-£45 in shops.... I got an email from someone saying
'Would you please sell this to me for £20 as I am 18 years old and that is all I have in my bank'
I was like and that is my problem why exactly... (didnt actually say that)0 -
I had a Playstation Game listed and someone asked if it would work on their grandson's console as they'd like to get them some games for christmas...
I responded it was for the ps3 and asked what console her grandson had and I could let her know if it was compatable...
She responded a few hours later stating it was a Leapfrog (...after doing my research I realised this is some kind of kiddy "speak n spell" type computer for ages 3+ that reads books)
...I wouldn't mind by the PS3 game was Call of Duty - a shoot 'em up game!!
Pleasant enough lady though & made me smile for the rest of the day...
Aw bless! This reminds me of a lady who came into the shop I work at near Christmas. She asked me if we sold a stick, we had them in a few weeks ago. After a little questioning she said it was a little figure and it was something to do with racing. I was completely baffled and said I didn't think we had any left. It was only about ten minutes after she left that I saw our Stig bubble baths and realised that's what she was talking about! She'd obviously been asked for one by her grandkids but got a bit confused
To be honest, if I saw a listing where I really liked the wallpaper/curtains etc I'd probably message them to ask where they got them from as well!

I had a bra and thong set from La Senza on as a BIN as they are brand new with tags. The bra is a 32c and I lady has message me saying
'I am usually a 32C in la senza bras but only just with lots of padding do you think it will fit me?'
How am I supposed to know! I simply said well it has a little padding and if you are usually that size it should be fine!0
