Well it's been 24 hours nearly since I emailed and no response. I get the feeling I won't hear from them again (hopefully).

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
Like my avatar, took the photo myself with the free digital camera I bought from boots with all my free points! I love moneysaving.

but the item was with the buyer for a week before they reported a fault, meaning they received the item in full working condition but since has been in their hands a fault has occurred
    so...
the item was sold in full working condition.

    thats's kind of correct

If i were you and you don't intend to give a refund, take any money out of your paypal account to leave nothing in it because otherwise paypal will freeze your account and give them their money back. Don't trust Paypal

if theres no money in your paypal account ive been told if you have a bank account connected they just take it out of your bank account and charge you for the privalige

They cant just take the money back out your bank account; however they will send you to a debt collector and take you to court to get the money back from you.

They hassle and hassle and hassle until you pay it back! Trust me, I know!

you'll find that they do if theres an account of any form linked

you need to then tell your bank that it was an unauthorised direct debit or transaction

  • I don't get it??

If the buyer has the receipt why can't they go back to Apple and get it repaired??

After all they can say it was a present!

    yep,
if the buyer does have the receipt all they need to do is give apple a call, explain the problem with the ipod, then apple will decide what they will do.

what normally happens is apple will send out a replacement to the buyer, then it is upto the buyer to contact apples delivery contractors to send the faulty item back to them at apples cost.

    job done
