when i paid i received an email saying that they would be delivered on 24th November at the latest (a 4 week delivery time) - they accept that they have taken an unacceptably long time and are willing to compensate me for this - i havent asked for compensation before so am not sure what to ask for really but i know i dont want any of their vouchers!!0

OP reckons the floor-runner's out of the price bracket for the compo - in which case, sod'em, I say.

My friend's got a lovely velvet sofa from Laura Ashley but the cat's dribbled all over it."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

So you wernt sofaless you had furniture to sit on, not really their problem you sold your old sofa before you got your new ones delivered, I can't think of any sofa company's that would guarantee absolutely 100% a delivery date. £75 from them seems more than fair, buy someone a present with it if you don't want anything yourself...0

It could have exploded or something.
Erm, yes she did...0 -
When we were first married, we spent the first year using deck chairs as we couldn't afford proper furniture.
OP - look at this realistically - you didn't have to sit crossed legged on the carpet - you had furniture to sit on even it wasn't your nice new sofas

How much have you lost out on and need compensating for?Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
