    I think maybe we should start again with a few simple questions:

    What are you going to be using it for? Sharing Internet or sharing both Internet and files between the two computers?

    What features do you need?

    95% of home users don't need to spend more than 30 - 40 quid on a router - and many just get a free one from their ISP.

    It would be better, but it all depends on cost.

    how many wireless devices would you be connecting at any one time
  • Ok I will be connecting my pc, laptop and printer.

    the desktop by wired
    the laptop by wireless
    and the printer could be connected to the desktop unless its a wireless one

    one other question does the laptop have wireless ?

    heres a belkin for £50 inc vat from ebuyer
    or another 1 for £46.42

  • No not GB at a time and probably not regularly.

    You need a pretty bog standard one then unless you have signal problems with wireless in your house to due thick walls or a huge size etc
