Thanks Trets - I have the unit, used to be on my son's PC at uni, but no TV connected, so bought one without for him, just wondering which aerial to connect the sky or the tv aerial. Wondering if it is the sky would it deteriorate the piccy as currently it is direct link from dish?Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Almost feel nervous about posting, in case I'm talking rubbish! I don't know... but ... I would have thought that in your case (Donny-gal) I'd plug the TV aerial into the protector, as this is more likely to be hit by lightening (assuming the aerial is on your roof!) then your sat dish (on side of building). I'll stand corrected, though, as I'm not in the know!
Regards,
J
P.S. I have a 6 way surge protector too, preventative, instead of reactive! So, so cheap nowadays. If they come with a guarantee, then I don't need proof if it works, 'cos I know who I'm going to if it doesn't!:money: [STRIKE]Mortgage: July01=62700; Apr07=~15000[/STRIKE]
