Is it correct that Nochex is not permitted on eBay? I've seen many sellers offering Nochex and always thought that it was allowed.
edit: I think I've found the answer by reading a thread further down the page.

I've heard they'll be pricing all things in Dollars soon. LOLI'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I'm selling with Nochex as my prefered payment0

Here it is, it says you can have Nochex under the some example bit
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-surcharges.html
Just click on show next to the some example bit and you see that you cannot charge a surchage using Nochex, it says nothing about not having Nochex in your listing as a payment obtion0 -
The accepted payments policy was only recently updated (July 10th), it doesn't seem like they have updated other parts of the site that mention Nochex.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

If it were anywhere else but ebay we would be surprised..as it is I'm not at all surprised that they contradict themselves all over the place.
The one thing ebay needs is more technical staff to double check what they say makes sense and also to keep their servers up and running properly on a Sunday evening.(Kimberley) I'm selling with Nochex as my prefered payment
It is probably better to think about removing that on future auctions as your competitors may start reporting you. I personally wouldn't bother with auctions I already had running as someone on the Nochex pointed out there were thousands of them so it would take a while for ebay to act on all the reports so the chances of getting an auction pulled were slim. I would also think that ebay operated some sort of period of 'grace' as they hardly made a big song and dance about the change and I'm sure it slipped past most people.
In future though as the number of people overlooking the rule declines you may have more problems.

Well, i will continue to use Nochex in my listings until Ebay tell me otherwise. I'm not doing paypal anymore. More people are ditching Paypal. Why are eBay forcing people to use paypal? They must know people don't trust them anymore. They are risking people doing the same with Ebay.0

I read on the Nochex or eBay forum (can't remember which!), that because hardly anyone was aware that Nochex will no longer be permitted, any listings made prior to the updated policy will not be pulled by eBay. I think there is a period of grace as Soolin mentioned until the 21st August this year.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
