  • I have been a bit slow to keep this up to date lately!

Had an ok week. 1st day at preschool this week and that has been great, the preschool is really good and it is right next to the local woods and there is a bit that is fenced in so that the children have picnic tables and tress and its called the forest. They also have lots of activity tables, a veggie patch and an outdoor play area. I was impressed with the time they have taken to take notes about our daughter and the things she likes and so they can talk to her about her family and pets, perhaps this is all standard, I wonldn't know but I was happy and I hope this week when we leave her there she is ok :) We have paid out about £22 for tshirts/ sweatshirts and have to give about £3 for snacks during term time. We had to get her some plimsols which I have 'jazzed' up a bit, I will try to post a piccie at some point tho I am getting a bit rubbish with doing this will try and do it a bit more I think...

My nan has been quite unwell and my parents are going away tomorrow. My dad has been really feeling the strain at the moment with helping her out and my sister and I both have stressful jobs, he said he is still happy having my daughter but I think it could be getting too much for him, he says she is his sanity....I think we will have to see how things go over the next month or so but otherwise we might have to reconsider this situation. Lost my last chicken saturday also, hope my duck is ok on his own, they became good friends :(

We haven't done our weekly shop so far, my husband is off for the next 2weeks ( I have booked the second friday off but I haven't told him yet so it can be a surprise :)), so he is going to try and get some jobs done this week :) so if nothing else the house jobs should be reduced. We popped in waitrose and OMG so expensive, we spent £12 on nothing pretty much. The other day we bought some goats cheese reduced as a treat and it was soooooo yummy so we got some more, we picked a tiny one up we thought was £1.50, it wasn't til we got home we realised it was £3.25, we had to laugh....must have picked the wrong one up.

We also went to B&Q which is always asking for trouble. My husband wanted some bedding plants for the new raised beds he built so we got some more pansies, they look lovely, very naughty tho!! I think we spent about £30, we also got some very reduced buxus balls, all very naughty.

Its very hard to get strict with ourselves now, we have definitely slipped a bit. We had a slip up in that our credit card for next month comes out before payday, grrr so we need to live off the card and use the money we have for this bill...will need to have a good look over the figures at the end of the month and see how things are going. The mortgage will be on track, just the credit card that will be off.

Well, looking forward to the update charts next one will feel like home stretch I think. :T:T:T
