I made quite a big loss on a heavy book I sold on ebay once for 99p so I understand your frustration. I'm sure your buyer will be honest though.

Well the second ebay item has turned out to be a nightmare too as the guy has only paid for the item as if collecting and not said about collecting or arranging a courier. I emailed him yesterday but he hasn't got back so I haven't posted it?? I think if I haven't heard from him by the end of the week then I will just refund him. The guy hasn't replied either so i hope it goes ok.

I forgot I got another voucher the other day for £10 :)

I also messed up my good shopping trip by visiting a garden centre!

Think I will see how I am feeling this week as I have been rather stresssed again, I might have to have some personal reviewing I think unless I calm down!

I'd wait to hear from him too. Garden centres are very good at taking money - even worse than the supermarket! I like to browse but usually end up buying. Did you get anything nice?

Am I the only one who types a long message and manages to lose it??

Just overpaid £220 on the mortgage from hubbys salary however I think we maybe about £40 short this month, after I told him he had a bit extra so I might have to grovel!

Wel the second ebay guy has paid and the postage was right so I'm thinking maybe I weighed the same thing twice??:rotfl:

Cath, I did thank you, I have a set of pots for the front of the house, one I have a twisty trunk baytree in and three little round buxus balls in. I discovered the other week theyre a bit spaced and I decided I needed another one. Ages ago I made two wired frames and put a buxus tree in each to say '36' as that is our house number, the other week I thought if I could get a big pot and put them both in that would look good. Last time we went I 'tested the water' with my husband and he didnt say much but the pots are discontinued and so when we went this time there were only a few left and most have chips in, I pointed this out and got little response so I just asked outright:rotfl: So we got the 'final pot'! Also I have been looking at old holiday photos and I want to decorate our bedroom with a maldivian theme, I had been taking lots of photos of the flowers last time I went and looking them up so I was overjoyed when I spotted some hibiscius flowers, one for me one for my husbands mum as its her birthday at the weekend. So yes I feel very treated, so money well spent I guess:beer:

So fingers crossed the other ebay item gets there ok, that will be a result, if not the worse is I refund the money and lose the item, worse things have happened, it was all bonus money anyway :)

Oh re other outstanding debts I have paid my sister back:j Though it is her birthday this month and she is a big spender so always hard to get something thats 'enough'

Will update friday when money comes out:cool:

OH no 30 pages is that what I'm up to? You deserve a medal I'm too scary to read it back incase I'm whinging all the time!! Thank you :) I hope you can tackle your mortgage too!! :) I really appreciate that :)

Well, payment day which I kind of enjoy though whereas it used to take me ages to work out its all done in a few mins now.
Out of our £457.51, £392.28 has come off the balance and just £65.23 interest (£6 less than last month) this seems like a big drop! Not sure why obviously only 30 days in this month but good all the same. This was £2.17 a day (last month £2.30 a day, last year £3.54 a day). I think paying £400 off the balance monthly will seem like a milestone, I always felt I was racing against the interest rate but we'll see!

Anyway I have just transferred the paypal I got from the cheaper item (still awaiting news of the non special delivery one) and rounded up the balance with a bit of odd and so we're now at £52630. My ebay fees I think are £8.23, this leaves me just over £15 left. Quidco has finally paid £117 I've been waiting for for ages (was gonna switch bad feeling a bit bad now doh!) so that will arrive soon. If the rest of the ebay comes through that will be my £200 I owe to work, though we will do a close credit card check over the weekend and see where we stand so we don't mess up over the long month. Of course I would love to scrape another £30 off that balance, the target for this month is to get another £20 off, so its just number juggling! I still have CB also, so maybe I'm ahead but not sure if thats next months actually.

Next month will mark cracking the £50k barrier, next month will mark the return of being being back at work full time for 2 years, I'm sure the people I work with will think its more! Next month I think we pay our balance down by less to help with the credit cards, need to check the plan I wrote a page of so back!

I think thats it, will update when I have worked out the credit cards :)

:j:j:jI have feedback for the non recorded item all good, received so have transferred the money from paypal:j:j:j

So overall that makes a productive ebay session.

We shall be going to collect some drainage channels today we bought off ebay the cheapest we could get them off an ebay company was £90 except for these ones which were £40 which is about 40mins drive away excess from someones project so a one off, so we shall also slip in a garden centre up there:p after that we will go food shopping so the true aim is to spend minimal and then we can look at our credit card challenge later. A couple of ebay items were bought on the tescos card so that might be slightly up ie these channels, we'll see.

We need to get some more building supplies really, we have been buying regrade bricks so most of them are nice but some are nasty, normal bricks but poorly coloured, these are going along our neighbours fence as they shall never be seen. We are getting to the stage when we only have good bricks left. I think we will have to fork out for another batch of these and some sand which my husband has been reluctant to buy as he's worried about the cost. I cannot see not-building achieves anything, we pay alot off a month so we'd have to spend £3k to put us back a month, I think not building means we are more likely to need to employ tradesmen to do things as time will be more of an issue post MF and that will then cost more in the meantime. I think our total building cost to date is in the region of 9k we are keeping a list of it all. My husband will need to do some work for his professional qualification soon tho so I expect if we do buy these next supplies they shall be the last the duration of this year. Our next plan is the floor which I think was going to cost approx 1k so this is scheduled for next year.

Shall update later! OH has suggested going to the disney store tomorrow which I rate as 'dangerous' and will delay credit card analysis!! So far I have declined....:rotfl:

Hubby did a fantastic food shop of £32, but they had no dog food so we had to go to sainsburys after which was another £3.50. Overall pretty good.

We went to ikea and bought some new pillows and covers we got the cheapest ones and it was £9 something for 4. Our pillows are awful and have been meaning to do this for a while, last time I was washing the bedding I saw one pillow was going meldewy yuk so I chucked it, but seriosly we had such a good nights sleep- might help the old asthma allergies too:rotfl:

We did go to disney and didn't get anything but I did buy a dress in the shopping centre and I got one of those giant cupcake makers I've wanted to ages and a cup cake stand as they were on offer, £3.99 and £3.50 respectively. They had a lovely cake stand in ikea but was £13 so although its not as nice it will do the job! We got petrol too so I think we spent about £80 and we still need duck food, it just goes doesn't!!

Done most of my jobs today and we have some cash as we are going to a preschool fete for our daughter, I am looking forward to this new focus in life, as of september hopefully it will distract me from work worry.

Anyway will check the credit cards later and update, had probs with the internet and haven't had a chance!

I forgot to mention our freezer broke, luckily we have a spare in the garage but the one that broke is an integrated on in the larder unit tho, tbh this can be replaced after we are MF as can the integrated microwave (I have my sister old one now) gotta say they are both siemens and we bought them as they were meant to be good, next time I'm going for the cheapy ones!! So only 50% of our integrated appliances are working now in the larder unit grrrrrrrr, annoying when you are lacking space...

    Will update later :)
