Thanks TYO I don't seem to be coping very well atm, although today I am fine :)

    Well credit card round up.

Target for tescos credit card was to get it to £540 (we spent a bit extra on it) and as of thursday it will be £550, thats pretty much achieved I think:j

Target for sainsburys was to be at around £4700 and to not go over the limit this month (5k), we are a bit over that but WE WILL NOT go over the limit and are paying a bit extra off it so we will have £580 for food and petrol this month. We will not go over it if means staving!!! This extra was supplemented by hubbys over time and the ebay money raised. As long as we don't go over limit (won't as would incur interest!) happy to class that as achieved

Target for mortgage was to pay 2615 overpayment, need to pay another £20 think this will be ok so failed atm

Target to pay off work bill, will pay half only failed hubby will help with this next month

Next month will stop using credit cards and start using actual money again, fingers crossed our budget works out!!

OOOOh, I had to confirm tesco credit card is now £550!!! This shall be cleared next month :)

This week, overall has been better, but things are up and down, I think once I get to August I will be happier as we have a week off :) end of the year is generally exciting for us, we have been discussing a few business ideas for the future myself and hubby and we are both 'professionals' so it is quite possible for us to work minimally and possibly start some sort of business so that we can spend more time at home and together, in the future post MFW.

I have finished my fish picture :) these little projects help alot I think, they usually form part of a diy plan, for the future extension, hence I cannot continuously do them as our house isn't that big!! I shall post a pic of some fish below to brighten the page if nothing else!

    Good luck TYO ;)

Food shop £51...spent £12 on clothes inclding a baby outfit, which is scandalous!! Though that was completely my husbands fault, its a unisex one he liked for ages reduced. However have made a very strong association of increased bill when I am present...perhaps I might get let off in future weeks :)

Hubby is sorting the drainage in the garden, he said hes broken a bit so now it will cost another £30, can't be helped these things have to be done.

Gonna ask him very nicely to put my piccie up later :) Cookie-dough our pup jumped up the chair and chewed one fishes tail and ate an eye!! It has now been relocated to the bedroom and 'under repair' thank goodness she didn't damage it more than that!

There's a computer program I want thatis reduced this weekend, I might leave the page up for hubby to see....odds <10% hehehe

Well done on your achievements and that MF date is so close now. Try not to see it as 'failing' when not achieving set goals, I am also guilty of this but we need to focus on our achievements instead.
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

This challenge has taught me how tough I am on myself, I wish I'd kept a diary my whole life, I think I can see a recurring pattern here, I really need to chill once this is over and not be so regimented! I don't think I can change my life pattern without sitting down and writing it down and thinking about it, I blame education:rotfl:

I will try to put failed challenged as nearly achieved from now on!!! maybe that will help??:) Thanks Cath :) Feeling like you've failed all the time is rubbish!! Why are we so tough on ourselves?

I feel like when it is august things will seem better:mad::eek::rotfl:

woohoo, we have a tax rebate, hubby had written off for this, £381 is on its way to us:j He has decided to reduce credit cards by £300 and £80 for treats:T Just in the nick of time. This should help us get a teenyweeny bit ahead:beer:

We are at about £4600ish on the sainsburys card, we have just under £400 to survive on this month, I think we can do this!! We have a contingency off £100 so we should definately have something over- I am pleased about this as it is a long month and this is the budget I have based repaying our debts on so if we stay ahead this month we have good chances of meeting all targets!

Onepoll- why so many prize draw surveys does anyone else notice this- I want cash, has anyone ever won a prize draw?? not me!!

ooh we do have some birthdays coming up, i will try and incorporate these in our shopping budget!

In my mind we are near the end of July, but we're not at all are we...hmmmm will probably seem a really long month afterall!
