  • Hey jo
must be lovely to know you have the potential of being there for those moments for your daughter (and any other littles coming along!) :) not sure re: videocameras nowadays I think many schools dont let them in ... if its any consolation I was pretty much always a sheperd as it only involved my mum then having to find a tea towel for a costume! :rotfl:
  • haha, they do all these super outfits in the supermarkets now don't they :) I saw a star outfit the other day

grr got a letter form edf saying they are stopping the nectar points now grrrrr so I might have to switch in the new year :)

  • videocameras were allowed at my DS1s play earlier in the week. It depends. You have to sign a form saying your kid can be filmed and photographed, and if you all consent then you can film it.

I forgot our camera, but school were selling photos printed on normal paper which is better than nothing. Our preschool play was very modern, with the cast singing along to chart hits, like Shine by Take That, as well as older songs like The proclaimers 500 miles. So cute though. :D

Your school must have been a bit backward. I was allowed to be an angel in spite of my dark hair. I think i was a bit of a favourite though. My mum tells me my 1st teacher had us for 2 years, and she told my mum she wanted to adopt me and take me home. I must have been fairly good to persuade my mum to keep having kids as she had 4. After my 2, i am happy with 2. :rotfl:

I wouldn't worry about nectar points - they are a worse deal than daily clicking :rotfl:

EDF are supposedly keeping their prices frozen until March - can't be bad!

I'm in the gas/elect deal to march so might have to do that comparison thing after that!

£42 on mini weekly shop today...what is going wrong? Decided to save tescos voucher to next weekend as will still be valid and needed to put off spending loads, think we will blow the budget!

oooh I can't wait for christmas plays now!! well I am happy with one but feel I need another to 'fill in the gaps of motherhood' hehe, plus I just loved being pregnant i felt so happy, but thats not a reason to keep having children! I prefer having a toddler, obviously she was cute as a baby but at the mo she just seems to get better with age. If I was loaded I'd be tempted to keep going but my parents helped me get on the property ladder so I would like to be able to do the same for my kids therefore the less the better! My little girl is the only child in the family too and with no sign of any cousins coming along anytime soon I feel I should provide a sibling ;) tho how close they'll be with a 5 year age gap who knows, but I don't want to have another baby now and have to work again full time, I don't want to miss out again!

Last day off until christmas eve now, but making some serious head room cleaning the house today, such a relief as I rarely do it and unfortunately it tends to be rather bad before I get round to it, but got hubby on board today so doing ok!

OOh should mention was meant to get £25 M&S vouchers from sky which have never come, but now instead theyre crediting our account, hoping that means I don't have to pay much this month :)

It's hard timing the next baby isn't it. DD is 27 months and we are just going to see what happens. I have a lot going on work wise and being pregnant while the changes are happening isn't ideal but I can't put my life on hold while i wait and see what happens. I'm hoping with a 3 year gap they will get along well and DD be a little better sleep wise by then!

Yeah see our daughter slept really well from the beginning, I've probably only had to get up in the night maybe twice in the last year- shes 24 months, she has been so good I'm a bit scared the next baby will be the baby from hell! The only thing I would say is I don't want to buy a new buggy (double) so I would like her always walking really. Shes not toilet trained yet tho so really I'd like that to be completely sorted before upsetting things. I've talked myself into the long gap because I know the chances of me giving up work at least temporarily are high until something part time comes along hence trying to clear the mortgage asap. If money was no object and I was at home all the time I think I would have succumbed to the broodiness by now. Hoping the maternity pay might change in my favour first but its seeming unlikely with all the changes! I thinka 3 year age gap is probably nice, as much I'm broody I think I'd of struggled with two years with everything else.

Wel I forgot that we were going to renew our farm membership and my daughter is no longer free. We ended up renewing early because the farm is having building work and the new prices aren't in so things are bound to go up. My sister was going to get it for us but as it is so much we told her not to do the full amount but bless her she has...think I need to find something to top up up pressie now coz I feel our gift is a bit feeble in comparison!!

    Thats all today folks :)

Well hubby has been paid a week early- yeeeeeeha! so £1700 has come off today so were now at £72800, on the contrary I am being paid a week late compared to normal so will have to wait til after xmas for any excitement this year. We are now hitting the harsh reality of the credit card payments as its so frustrating coz really I just want to pay the mortgage off! But I can't...

I have 4 days left at work now phew then a lovely nice xmas break- I book xmas off every january!! January will be awful no extra days off coming and up and nothing exciting happening for a while tho I guess end of jan there will be a 6 heading our total.

In the survey world I got £10 ipsos last night so £60 in vouchers now, might go towards a hubby for his 28th in April as he says he wants one and he never wants much, so hopefully I can build them up til then. Never did get the dongle thing I had my eyes on. Also at £35 on onepoll and I'm doing some text thing for valued opinions so should have another £10 on its way soon I hope- why do they take so long to get added on?

Fingers crossed work will see the light and pay me next week but its not looking likely I guess at least something after xmas to look forward to!
