    Mortgage-free Glee!
Hi Cath- I think she will start school september 2013 just before she's 5 (?) so in my mind I want to 'ideally' be pregnant and take maternity leave over this time allowing me to be with her when she starts. Time will tell...

Well we have both been paid so the signature has been updated. I earned £2546 and hubby £2502. We have paid £2800 off the mortgage today, this leaves just over £1500 for our direct debits and £700 to come off the credit card. So the mortgage is £74990 we still have our monthly payment to come off and probably CB. We are hoping to get something off our holiday insurance claim but that might go towards the laptop which hubby has put his foot down to going on the credit card at the mo. To be fair the credit card now needs to come down because it has now fulfilled its purpose- we have now caught up on the mortgage for where we skipped it for the building work. I think this weekend we shall make a proper plan re paying off the card. Once I have done the MFIT update I will change my signature, I think we will be trying to clear this in line with the challenge now because I think we can do it as the option of overtime at work is there, plus my signature is too long :) feeling a bit better as it the weekend I hope nothing will mess it up at work!

I'm a bit annoyed with amazon, I ordered a printer and they said it was out of stock but now its in stock at a higher price, I think that's a bit unfair... need to have a hunt for another one now :(

Anyway gonna try and have a reasonable shop this week but have lots to get that havent got for a while like- all the survey washing powders and conditioners have run out now. We have some tescos vouchers but £5 off £50 which I don't think we'll spend unless we do some bulky shops...I just get carried away tho!!

Will update with shopping total :)

good luck in tescos- I know I am a sucker for overspending when they offer me any money off (therefore slightly defeating the point! ;) )
  • Hubby has gone shopping and has decided that we will just go to asda as he doesnt want to spend that much. I'm wondering if I can tempt someone to use my clubcard and they can have the £5 voucher so I can have the clubcard points at least... will see hehe

Its not even december yet!!!!! People are putting them up earlier and earlier! :p

I have tesco MOC too but I know I dont need to spend £40 just yet so getting £4 would be defeating the object I guess.

I know, I'm usually a bit against the whole over-the-top christmas thing, but now our daughters two and gets excited about 'kissmas' I have let myself get a bit carried away...I was waiting for some other people to put theirs up first and after seeing a few wreaths I felt it was ok-ish ;)
