    ello

    Traditional and better looking method is to machine the rod pockets into the lining and then 'stab stitch' or 'tack spot stitch' (some people call it) the lining to the fabric following the lines of each rod pocket so you get a good gather :)

    Actually the guy who runs that site has a channel on You Tube called 'Schuhby's channel' with over 30vids for roman blinds :)

    Can anyone suggest MSE ways of making a roman blind?
    I've made a panel from remnants, so far I've spent £3 (and its a lovely silk fabric, plus bump and blackout lining), so I don't want to ruin the bargain by buying a £15 roman blind kit. What are the alternatives?
