That is so annoying isnt it, my Mum is doing a counselling degree and has started to say "how does that make you feel" after every bloody sentence, not really necessary after only saying you are popping to the shops:rotfl:

I thought the whole point of doing a counselling course was learning to actively listen. Just listening a lot and prompting a bit. It just helped me listen. I only commented if invited to do so.

If your mum asks 'How does that make you feel?' can't you say 'like punching you' (This tells you a lot about the anger in my family!!!)

The psych students are out of line - I've got a councellor friend and she never analyses us. Characters in books, yes, but friends, no. She always goes on about how psychologists think they're god though and stuff!

Lou, I got three big mesh bags on ebay for £1.49 all in and they're great. I wear a lot of silk and was sick of it getting pulled and holes around the seams and invested in them, they really protect clothes.

Bookie, I really don't know what to say. Will you be able to sort out a private rent easily? Or will there be enough left to buy somewhere small? I'm so sorry for you, I know how much effort and love you've put into your house.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Anyone who may know, going from the South West to Dover - is the M4 or the A30/A303 a better route?
