EDF Bill help/Silly questions!

Hi
I hope somebody can help or point me in the right direction please.

I signed up to EDF dual fuel in October (think the tariff was online V5 or similar?) I have been submitting meter readings monthly but as of yet have still not received a bill from EDF.

I have checked my readings today against the opening ones I gave to EDF in Oct

Electricity - First Reading 42658 Today's Reading 43336
Gas - First Reading 0751 Today's Reading 0816

Is there a quick and easy way for me to roughly work out what I have spent and how much my bill will be? I have been into my account on the EDF web-site and can't see the rates (not that I would know how to work it out anyway!!)

Also I pay a monthly direct debit, when my bill arrives and If I owe more than I've paid so far, will the up the direct debit,or will I be able to pay the difference? Sorry for the stupid questions, but I use to pay for my exact monthly useage in arrears so this is a new way of being billed for me.

Any help or advice given would be much appreciated!

Thanks.
Janninew

P.S Has anybody had any difficulty getting their cashback for switching through Moneysupermarket? I was suppose to receive 60.00 for switching and to date have received nothing, it has now been 5 months. My brother switched recently (not sure who with) and he received his money after just 2 months!

Thanks again.

    Thats really helpful, thank you!

Just another silly question, how do I know if my gas meter is metric or imperial? I've had a look on the meter and can't tell?

    Thanks again!

It's marked on the meter, if it says 'm3' it's cubic meters.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I can't see 'm3' anywhere on the meter, I can only see ft3?

Cubic feet-therefore it's an imperial meter.

    Thanks very much!
I've inputted my figures and seem to have spent around 62.00 on electric and 80.00 on gas. Not bad for nearly 4 months! :T

If you go to the EDF website and look at the rates for your tariff it will tell you.

Online v5 is a 2 tier tariff, with no standing charges.
