I loathe and detest the meerkats one. I think it's just silly, making a whole advert out of a tenuous similarity in the sound of two words. Why would anyone want to compare meerkats? (but maybe that's the Aspie in me).

    GoCompare is pretty awful too.

  • I hate the GoCompare adverts with an absolute passion. I have it in my head now and I know it won't shift all day!

The 'ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh' music on the Natwest adverts is horribly irritating as well.

I like Compare The Meerkat (but then I'm a sucker for a good 'story' advert like the BT ones) and the Barclaycard ones, and actually quite enjoy the Omid Djalili ones, although the first one was better than the current one in the office.

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

At least Go Compare and Compare the Market stay with you after the ad - I have trouble remembering what Omid Djalili is advertising, funny as he is.

The Natwest advert is the most annoying I've seen in a very long time. It was bad enough last year, then they had to do a follow up! Go compare is a little annoying but in a cheesy way, the Natwest one is just fakeness all around. If the natwest staff were really like that I'd have to move my account, you're not my friend, stop being so chummy!
