My DS1 will be 8, DS2 5 1/2 when DS3 comes along ... the number of people who've said 'OMG, are you pregnant again!', or 'Didn't you learn - haven't you got two already' or 'Are you hoping for a girl then?' or 'Was it an accident?' have totalled about 8 ... everyone else has been really supportive and happy for us.

If you can give a baby / child love, security, time and patience, then yes, go for it. Anything else is immaterial.
