Seriously though...it has seemed a bit quiet lately...but it's great for us buyers. I have purchased 10 items in the last coupe of weeks and didn't have to fight for any of them, and got them all at bargain prices:D :D:D

i always panic but i usually sell items for the price i want or on the rare occasion i get to relist em, an its always the last hour the bids are placed.

i do the same thing, if i find something i want i dont bid until the last minute, i'v come up against too many bid wars and lost by bidding too soon
  • Personally I'm finding my sales better than ever, I've sold 154 items in the last 60 days (according to My eBay)

I always find this time of year slow on ebay too...
Perhaps its people saving money for hols?...and also people occupied with other things during the summer months that they dont log on so often.

Good luck with your sales..who knows they may fly out the roof :)

The way I see it is why should I go to Ebay when there are all these lovely carboots out there - that's where the bargains are and where you can actually see what you are buying. And after a long winter of receiving 'item not as described' you need a break. Then when it gets all cold and dark you go back to the carboot on the internet to fight for bargains.

Off to have a browse now - see if I can get these bargains people mention...

I was wrong. Nobody's buying at carboots either. Just spent 7 hours in the sun for a measly sum...

I have found it really quite all this weekend. I don't think people are on their computers full stop because of the weather.

    finger biting stuff this

I almost always start my items at 99p and let bidders do the work,
almost always i get the going rate for the stuff

today i'll admit that i'm a little worried, most of my items end in less than 16 hours and most are still at 99p!!!, including a brand new games console

    what's going on i wonder..................
I always start mine at 1p and mine sell way more than expected last week I sold 42 items giving me £123.00. i think people just like the 1p starts for some reason. I for one do. and almost always avoind anything above 1p starts
