Rail Freight is not an alternative and never will be. Still have to get the goods from a Terminal to the door, can you imagine the chaos around the Terminals.
Bio Fuels are enormously environmentally damaging. Hydrogen is one of the best bets but its currently in no-ones interest to invest heavily in this.....least of all HM Govt. ( A bit like banning smoking completely!)

Getting more cars off the road by getting a proper ( state-owned) commuter transport system and allowing easier movement for commercial vehicles will be the biggest help.

.....as would car drivers indicating at roundabouts! It takes at least 7 gear changes and almost a gallon of deisel to stop and start at a roundabout for a 500hp truck.

I dont drive so I am biased but I agree the more vehicles off the road the better - but I also think rail links to places like ports need to be improved! The A14 is the most dangerous road because of all of the trucks coming from/going to felixstowe (or is it a different port up that way I've forgotten now!) - if there was a way to get this off the road till it reached a distribution centre then that would be a lot better imo

Oh sorry, yes - I didn't realise it was a question for me. :) I think Bunny had decided not to have table sprinkles because of the cleaning up factor, but will ask her and let you know - thanks for the offer in any case.

If we all muck in on the cleaning up it won't take long *hides huge box of party poppers behind back*

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

This is my worst nightmare :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I dont get why people who have such amazing voices feel the need to sing such simplistic songs - yes the words are lovely but how is it a challenge to sing that??

Maybe I am missing the point :o

Ohh, this is random but if anyone like body shop strawberry fragrance stuff get down to asda and but this. Its supposed to me 2 for £2 and is priced at £1.48... However it scans at £1. Its amazing, I cant wait to try it later. Oh and they had a champagne and choc one too :D

Becky, I think you should either email or go along and ask tonight. As someone said if you arn't going to enjoy it best to find another choir. I guess there maybe a few around London. Oh and btw I hate choirs and opera singers singing pop songs... Wasted talents imo :)

Ta Snaggs, I wake up to Rule the World every morning. It's the alarm tone on my phone. I sometimes just leave it to ring so I can listen to it
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I just think it doesn't work in 99% of cases - the songs don't fit the style of singing. When they were advertising that Katherine Jenkins album before Christmas with this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzKdRf4bS1Y - I kept shouting at the telly :o
