This is my worst nightmare :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I dont get why people who have such amazing voices feel the need to sing such simplistic songs - yes the words are lovely but how is it a challenge to sing that??

Maybe I am missing the point :o

No, each to their own - I would rather hear a choir singing choral music too. This version is close to my heart because of a memory it brings back, not because it's a brilliant arrangement. I do love his voice though, sounds a little like the guy from Antony and the Johnsons.

Although I think a beautiful voice singing a simple song can be incredibly moving (see Antony and the Johnsons for an example rather than Take That though, probably :rotfl:).

And don't even get me started on Charlotte Church...... :D:D

I just think it doesn't work in 99% of cases - the songs don't fit the style of singing. When they were advertising that Katherine Jenkins album before Christmas with this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzKdRf4bS1Y - I kept shouting at the telly :o

    I like that song

I dont drive so I am biased but I agree the more vehicles off the road the better - but I also think rail links to places like ports need to be improved! The A14 is the most dangerous road because of all of the trucks coming from/going to felixstowe (or is it a different port up that way I've forgotten now!) - if there was a way to get this off the road till it reached a distribution centre then that would be a lot better imo

The ideal thing. A14 is a death-road....too narrow, too many curves, too many short slip-roads and too many cars making local journeys. It should be a Motorway.
We have been saying that a decent Container/Rail Terminal should be built in the Midlands for years.....what did we get....Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal which was all but pointless as proved by the Post Office basing themselves there and promptly opening a 200 bay road freight terminal and taking ALL the post off Rail!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
