    Afternoon.
Busy day today. After school run took kids to sof play centre. Came back, had lunch, dropped DS off at nursery, vacced all downstairs, dusted lounge, put load in WM and cleaned the bathroom and changed the towels. DD won't go for her nap  and is currently alternating between the lounge and hanging on my lap. She really needs to sleep now otherwise I'll end up having to wake her for the school run (and she ain't pretty when she's been woken ).
got a potential new client coming round after school too so it's going to be a house full!

Not even thought about tea :o Really need to start organising the night before but I've been engrossed in Hotel Dusk game on my Nintendo DS :o

Heavenleigh - Hugs to you. Don't feel guilty about your dad having to help you out - it's only what you'd do for your own kids. Better that you admit you're not coping than keep it bottled up to yourself - not healthy and people can't help you if they don't know what's going on. Hope you can get some more support from your kids dad - does he pay maintenance towards them?

BB - Hope your back feels better soon and DD2's spots aren't too itchy x

Sandy71 - Hugs to you as you sound a bit down today xx

newlywed - sorry you've been made redundant - welcome to the thread :j

Shez - we had a Land Rover Defender when I was pregnant with DS. I loved that car - it was gorgeous. I actually cried when we traded it in :o (can I blame the preggy hormones on that one?! :rotfl:)

JackieO - sounds like a lovely birthday :D

Right sorry if I've missed anyone off. Can't see further up the thread and I don't have a brain for remembering things :rotfl:
Hugs to those that need them. Have good afternoon.

    Afternoon all,

Took some cough mixture going to bed last night as I have had a ticklish cough for the last few days....knocked me out and I didn't wake up until after 11! As I had lots of things planned that didn't suit, but have managed to clear and hoover the computer room...nothing done in here since before Christmas so there was lots of stuff from the tree still hanging around, needed to move chairs and table too...almost all done now so there is a bit of space to walk round.

Cold and damp here, not raining but feels as if it is. Won't put any washing out, but hopefully will get all bedlinen washed and dry...heat being on so much it should dry quickly.

Need to collect DGS2 to-day from school, he has music (violin) after school on Monday so will not finish until 3.

BB...poor DD, its a rotten few days when the spots are at their worst.

    Anyone heard of Halight lately?

Hugs to all who are not feeling well or have problems of any kind.

PP-hugs. Sorry about your FIL but its good that it was peaceful. I work on an elderly care ward and I think that the most we can hope for is to be peaceful and painfree.
JackieO-belated happy birthday, it sounds like you had a great time.
I've got quite a bit of tidying done today(still plenty to do!!), vacced the frontroom and hall and swept the kitchen floor-which desperately needs a 'hands and knees' scrubbing. And done a few other little jobs.
Had HM veg soup and a ham sandwich for lunch. Think I'll have salad for tea and do dd a jacket potato with cheese and beans.
I really really need to have a sort through my freezers as they are full to busting. The fridge part of my inside one is leaking-it isn't becuse the drain bity is clogged, I've had that before, so I'm wondering if its because the freezer half needs defrosting-any ideas would be welcome?!!
Walked to work to get weighed after taking dd to school (I'm on annual leave) and I've lost 3lbs which I'm really chuffed about. Just hope I can keep it up as my usual problem is giving up after having a piggy session!
Hope eveyone ha had a good day.

    Afternoon all

    Belated birthday greetings JackieO

PenPin, sorry for your loss. (((HUG)))

Sandy (((HUG))) Tomorrow will be better.:o

BUSY weekend - much baking, and *fanfare, please* I have got Mr LW into decluttering mode! We even had to go and get some extra pink recycling sacks (they dish 'em out in the foyer of the library, fortunately).

Actually, Mr LW did warn me that I was overstretching myself yesterday, but I wanted to do all the baking (bread rolls, apple pie, quiche, cheese straws) in one fell swoop to make best use of the oven.

I fear he was right though, I'm like a limp dishrag today.

Still, some garbage has gone from the loft, and some not-garbage-but-not-needed-to-hand stuff has been lofted; he's got to go through a box of Oracle Financials paperwork tonight and see if any's obsolete, if it is it can go in the recycling. He can do that while I wash my hair; I need his help with getting in and out of the bath, and with holding the shower head to rinse, but he'll have time in between. Knowing him, he'll bring the stuff in the bathroom to do; as long as he brings a glass of wine as well.....:D

I've also been doing the number-crunching of the Beer Scores ready for our branch of CAMRA to decide which pubs in our patch are going in next year's Good Beer Guide; I'll get Mr LW to check what I've done, and then that can be emailed to the Pubs Officer.

Easy dins tonight - 2nd half of the quiche;)

Right, I think I hear a cup of tea calling my name.....:rotfl:

((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today.

Hubby got off to work ok this morning & rang me lunchtime to tell me it all seems ok, or as he put it 'Same !!!!!!, much nicer place'. So that's a relief, I now have about hour & a half's peace to surf, get tea, do housework etc, until It's time to collect him from the station.
    Have a good evening everybody.
    Hugs Hester

I have no idea where today went!! I had a meeting in one part of the county this morning, back to normal workplace (30mins away) for another meeting and lunch, then off to the next county for a 3rd meeting (another half hour away)! The day just flew by :) My last meeting of the day was at my old workplace, and I always feel wierd going back there!

I have HM celery soup for tea but no bread, so I'm debating whether to go to little shop round corner or to Tesco to get some. I can't really be bothered as it's so cold, but soup is much nicer with bread and butter :)

Nothing else OS today for me, other than unloading the DW

    Have a good evening all

Well I got the CM job :T although she has yet to sign contracts but am not stressing about that.
How am I going to cope not having my mornings free? Not really going to have chance for here until the afternoon (DD permitting) - I think I shall flatline :rotfl:

Hester - I just love you and your husbands turn of phrase. Not ones to call a spade a digging implement eh? Hope all his stressing was worth and he enjoyed his first day :rotfl:

Lamewolf - I guess today you really are your username. Take it easy xx

meanmarie - ooooh can I have some of that cough medicine - my mum could use some as she's been coughing so much in the night her ribs are killing her. I don't suppose its something we could get here?

    Evening everyone

Where has the day gone. Been reading the thread throughout the day but not had a chance to post till now. Day off from work has been spent cleaning the house as usual, washing, ironing etc. DS2 woke up just after 2.30am and didnt go back to sleep:mad:, though I tried I can tell you, eventually I gave up trying to cat nap at about 6, he is still awake now so will hopefully be an early night tonight and he will probably sleep for about 10 hours I hope. I wont be far behind him out of bed.

Dinner was salmon, new potatoes and broccoli, with enough left for my lunch tomorrow with a nice salad.

MSD - thinking of your friends, hope they are improving.
