    Morning All!
jackieO - what a fabuous birthday you had. Your family really do think the world of you, that's so obvious!
PP, sorry to hear about your FIL.
We have snowflakes swirling around yet again, but fortunately it looks as if it's too wet to settle. I shan't miss this weather at all and am really looking forward to some sunshine on our holiday. So, today I need to get all the clothes ready to pack (but not packing until after Mollie dog has gone to her holiday home as she get's very mopey when the cases come out!) She's staying with a lovely lady who will spoil her rotten, so not like going into kennels, but she doesn't know that. Also need to get the fridge decluttered and cleaned, plus general tidy round. It was lovely to have DS and family for w/e, but it feels as if a hurricane has passed through! One three year-old can cause chaos!
I do hope you all have a good day. Take care.

Hi all, thought I might join in if that's ok?

Sorry not been following all the threads so not really sure what's going on for everyone, but hugs to all who need them.

Just been made redundant so have lots of time on my hand suddenly and need some motivation to stop me sitting on my behind all day :o First time I've ever been unemployed or redundant so I've not been taking it too well :(

So far today have put washing on (towels), done online food shopping to be delivered tomorrow, had bath and hairwash and sat on the sofa reading MSE!

I really ought to go make beef stew and stick it in the slow cooker, make OH's lunch before he comes home asking for it, go and get milk from the shop down the road, top up the gas and electric prepay (both running very low), dust and hoover the bedroom, put some books on ebay.... oh and check the job websites yet again :)

There is me saying we don't get a lot of snow down south, and its been snowing off and on all morning, it won't settle though cos its sooooo wet underfoot.

Removed my moan anout OH from this mornings post :o, I am sure you lot don't want to hear it :D

Got a banana loaf, and cupcakes in the Aga ( I love saying that :o) although not technically sure it is an Aga cos it gas, but he ho its lovely anyway.

Off to clean the windows upstairs now, and then hoover through.

Not seen Stef for a while, hope she is ok xx

    Newlywed, hello and welcome xx

    Morning! (Just...)

Had a lovely weekend out and about for half and then in and slobbin' for the other half :D I've spent a great deal of time this morning trying to find an email for iPoints- it would mean a lot of points, but I can't find it anywhere! I did print it off though and have asked if this will do, if a copy can be posted to them. I certainly hope so, if not it appears that the points will just be lost and that would really tick me off :( Suppose it's my fault for not keeping the email, which is most unusual for me, but then again it figures that this would be the one I've deleted . . .

It's freezin' and it's snowing right now but too windy to lay anywhere atm. I'm on my second load of laundry, will put off ironing until tomorrow when I finish it off. Todays dinner is fish~n~chips with mushy peas for BH, regular nicely round ones for me :rotfl: Will be doing a bit of background work on the blog this afternoon and then the kitchen and bathroom floors need a mop run over them and I want to have a look through my Mary Berry's Baking Bible for a bit of inspiration for tomorrow after the ironing.

Will try and get a peek in later and catch up on the full thread for today . . . somewhere between bloggy chores and floor chores ;)

Put the chicken breasts in the slow cooker with mushrooms, cider, honey and wholegrain mustard (Stole the idea off someone else:o) Thought it would be nice but I have just realised I forgot to switch it on at the wall. I am so fed up today, everything is going wrong:(:(

  • Afternoon, just popping in to say BB, the thing which helped my kids when they had it was bathing in Savlon (the stuff that's like Dettol, but gentler!) They didn't get any infected spots, and only the ones on their foreheads scarred!

Hope everyone's OK. Hugs if needed, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
