It's a timeshare company and how underhand to say you have won a competition but then tell you you have to pay a fee before you can have it!Wins: Feb - Sam and Amanda DVD, Nanny Series, £50 Mother Day Goodies box0

From the feedback that I have seen you are about one of the only people that says the accommodation is good. When googling there are a huge amount of posts which are not complimentary about the accommodation or resorts!Wins: Feb - Sam and Amanda DVD, Nanny Series, £50 Mother Day Goodies box0 -
Hi
Need some advice.
I entered a lot of competitions last week cos my car broke down and i could not do what i needed to do. So i won a CD which is really good, however today i have received a letter from this organization telling me i have won a membership for holidays until the year 2059 and all i have to do is pay £370 for the first year for the holiday i choose to take and £200 and something for each following year for the holiday i want.
This is for four people on a seven night basis. I did not think to ask if flights were included however when i phoned and asked to speak to the person named in previous posts i was assured that i had 'won' a membership.
Has anybody out there 'won' a membership before - and can anyone shed any light as to whether or not this is too good to be true - so to speak.
On the face of it - it looks ok however i have yet to see any paperwork, be asked to sign anything etc. etc. and on consulting my mother who i would describe as 'wise' her response is something i would probably have to think twice about printing on here !! Help please if you can. Thank you very much.:T :rotfl: Ha Ha ... I did it.... What can i put ???:rolleyes:0 -
Hi
I also won a lifetime membership to Clubseasons to the value of £3,750 and quickly learned that it was timeshare . I don’t think that’s its illegal as they are offering a lifetimes subscription for the money , although that seems steep. Still its up to the individual as to how they see this as a prize, if you can call it that as they are asking for yearly service payments. I think if you work to the rule, that if you win a prize its free, with everything included . thereby you cant really go wrong

Hi
First post so please be nice.
Received our 'won a prize to the value of £3750' today - children unfortunately very excited - then I found this thread as I had an idea it was timeshare - what a shame. I am awaiting them to return my phone call. Also mentions a lovely brunch with VIP parking at Sandown Park Racecourse - anyone going to that?
Thanks0 -
I don't think it is a scam as such but it's not a prize either...just crafty advertising. I've had two of these letters now (recorded delivery) and I binned them both. I guess some people have had a holiday out of this but it will certainly cost you money.
Watch out for Club La Costa too. Same kind of thing except they ring you. Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
