To anyone that tried to order last night but got the 'card invalid' message - i did the same, and got an email from them, telling me that they'd noticed I'd had problems ordering, and to ring customer services if I still wanted to order, with a Basket number to quote.
I rang this morning, and was able to order over the phone. There is an 0844 number, and also a landline number, which when you call it, has changed, you get a recorded message stating the new one. I got through on the new one straight away.
Hope this helps someone who couldn't order last night !!! xx

Thanks to the OP. I ordered a deluxe makeover and a family portrait last night, haven't yet received a confirmation email but will hope something comes soon. Just as an extra note, my house mate went for a similar thing to the deluxe makeover at new id and ended up spending a fortune. She didn't even take her cards out with her and ended up paying something like £600. If you can, put a bit into the pre-payment thing if you know you will spend, so its not as much of a shock!

I ordered the family photo shoot Sunday and received the paperwork/gift voucher for it today - I didn't get a confirmation E-Mail when I ordered so don't panic if you don't get one.
I've been onto the website listed in the paperwork to find out the locations and one is just up the road from me - bonus:j
