  • Thought I'd add having experience of the hair cut voucher that the salon didn't call back they send a letter thanking you for entering their competition and inviting you to make an appointment for your free cut.

As I mentioned previously for me there was a 2 month lag between sending off voucher to HairGroup and contact in letter form from salon but hopefully it doesn't usually take this long.

I actually had my appt booked for 12 today (in my lunch hour) as this particular salon would only schedule an appt Mon - Wed before 3.30 (other Hairgroup salons may be different)
I had difficulty parking and when I did find a space the parking meter was out of order  and to walk to the next was a 10 min walk so ended up cancelling the appointment and giving up as nearly time to go back to work! - Mon- Wed just isn't convienient for me anyway so while a nice thought for a birthday pressie from my OH we have concluded that it would have been far nicer if he had just brought me a voucher for my regular hairdressers.

I do have 2X 1.95 haircut vouchers that I ordered from the November buy a gift offer which had planned to give to my sis and mum but I won't do that now so they are going begging :D

If you are selling I would be interested xx ... have sent you a pm xx

My two family photoshoots arrived. I am keeping them to add to the new baby presents for my two nieces who are both pregnant. As an extra pressie I think they will be appreciated.

As a bonus, in the envelopes was a voucher for free paintballing for up to 32 people, and 500 paintballs for the organiser of parties of 16 or more. I was going to do a paintball party for my son's 13th in May, and if I can get my older son's to make up the numbers with their friends, then I will get the extra 500, so for a total outlay of £1.95, I think I got a bargain.

    Thanks OP

Great Idea Poet123. I was originally saving for xmas pressies but didn't realise they had only 10 months date on them. I'll use one myself, and one for a Christening present.

I wonder if you could get around the 10 month rule by booking ahead, for example if you have a 1st birthday coming up after the deadline, as long as you book before the deadline expires then they would be fine. I am pretty sure they would allow that if you had booked in. Maybe worth checking.

might be worth checking and double checking....admitted its not the same company or voucher but my parents booked to go hot air ballooning a few months after their time restrictions allowed so might be worth a shot.....just check, double check and check again just in case though, as I think you have to take the token with you....would hate for you to book and pay the booking fee, then turn up, have a wasted journey and lose your booking fee

    Hi guys

i have two vouchers from this offer and called today to the hairgroup but aparently they dont have any participating sallons in Scotland !! i have to call back in 3 weeks but i dont think these can be honured in my case if there are no salons, they offered me an upgrade to photo shoot but i dont want that.
