Morning all.
I had a quick sneak on to the scales this morning (yes, I know -) and I'm under 85kg for the first time in ages. :j Let's see if I can keep it there until my official weigh day on Friday.
Today goes:
B - two slices banana and raisin bread, one with butter and one with raspberry jam
S - nectarine
L - work lunch pack - [STRIKE]I'm guessing a cheap ham sandwich, bag of s&v crisps and a piece of under-ripe fruit - again![/STRIKE] it looks like our complaints have been taken into account as today's lunch is much more interesting - a bacon and egg sandwich, a packet of chicken flavour crisps, and an apple solid enough to be used as a cricket ball (and, from the number of bruises on it, it may have been!
). Ah well, you can't have it all!
S - portion of dried fruit and pumpkin seeds
D - baked chilli-stuffed courgette and a few weeny HG potatoes
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
182lb this morning (I MUST STOP weighing daily!). Gym last night for the first time since I was 19, blagged my way in instead of going for a run as it was tipping down... did 40 minutes on treadmill and 10 on bike a few hand weights for the arms. Legs ache today! Was very good with food yesterday and so far today... hopefully I'll keep it up.

If it rains any more here we might disapear under water, there are ducks in the back field today and the sheep are up the far end trying to keep out of the waterlogged portion. Ironic that some of the apples have bitter pit due to the dry spell in the spring. It seems to be all or nothing these days.
Making a cheese and onion pie tonight, lots of onions to use up due to a mix up in my ordering for the shopping and a lot of cheese in the fridge from 2for 1 offers on cheese. Seems a good way to use it up but not very slimming.
ragz. well done for going to the gym, I need to get back but still coughing!
ccp. How can anyone expect good work from people served such awful lunches! Hope it gets better/stops soon."doing the best you enjoy, not the best you can tolerate, is truly the best you can do sustainably."0 -
I've been hopeless since I last posted. Spent too much money and ate too much food. This weekend I ate two tubs of cheeselets
Today isn't great but I'll post it anyway...
B: plain cheese sandwich from Tesco (it was horrible so I didn't eat it all)
L: veggie soup and bread roll followed by a bag of crispspizza and another bag of crisps (the good thing is it's a decent pizza that I bought on offer instead of phoning Dominos - much cheaper too)
I'm going to eat a banana for "pudding"
Exercise: walk
Tomorrow my plan is:
B: cereal and fruit
L: pasta tub, the add water type, and bread roll, maybe piece of fruit toosoup (bought some new varieties on offer today)
Exercise: walking the dogs and biking to work0 -
Hmm yesterday and today have been somewhat similar food wise!
B - none
L - Knorr soup
D - Sausage and mash (with onion gravy!)
also lots of tea
tomorrow should be
B - cheese sarnie
L - soup (or the aforementioned cheese sarnie if I don't get up in time!)
D - casserole & mashDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

L - grilled bacon, fried tomato, mushroom, onion, garlic, 2 eggs, on 2 slices dry toast. Bad fried food
T - 1/4 cantaloupe,
Snax - cornetto - could have had a scoop of lf ice cream, nectarine, pear
if I know where I'm going wrong why on earth do I do it???!!!
Exercise, or my excuse for - cleaned bathroom top to bottom, spent 1/2 hour tidying garden (20 mins of which was chatting to neighbour over the fence )0 -
Had a sneeky weigh in this morning and I've lost the pound I put on last week.
Today:
B - Banana/Oat smoothie
L - Salmon & Salad, Yoghurt
S - Banana
D - HM Leek & Potatoe Soup0 -
Morning all.
I have to confess to being a bit naughty yesterday - I decided to have garlic bread with my baked courgette rather than the new potatoes I'd planned to eat, then sprinkled cheese over the courgette as well.It was so tasty that I can't bring myself to feel very guilty, but I must be good for the rest of the week to make up for it.
Today goes:
B - slice of banana and raisin bread with peanut butter
L - sandwich and fruit from my lunch pack (the last one, thank goodness! :j;)); small portion of hummus with cucumber sticks
S - nectarine
D - veg tagine with brown rice (which I'll try not to burn tonight - I seem to have totally lost the ability to cook rice at the moment); fresh mango
Exercise has been sadly lacking this week and I'm not sure I'll have time again today, but I've been spending all morning on my feet which I hope counts for something.
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0
