Me and H2B have been out for a meal with his uncle and auntie, which they very kindly paid for
I had:
starter: garlic and chilli king prawns with egg noodles and rocket pesto
main: rack of lamb with dophinoise potatoes and a rosemary jus
pud: spicy banana with a cinnamon sauce and vanilla ice cream
EVERYTHING was amazing, nom nom nomClearly my diet is going well
Best of all, it means that I've had a NSD today, even though I've been out for an amazing meal!

Morning all - ooh slowly fading your meal sounded gorgeous! Well I myself, brag brag, was a very good girl yesterday and I actually stuck rigidly to plan! And no snacking in the evening (other than 2 satsumas as per plan!) Does that mean I am back safely on the wagon after my few days of naughtiness?!
I am going to have a browse of my low-fat cookbooks today for inspiration, as I seem to be eating more or less the same things all the time and don't want boredom to set in!
Meanwhile today's menu will be:
B - Benefit flakes with small sliced banana and sk milk
L - HM Red Pepper & cheese soup, tortilla wrap with salad and tuna. Strawberries, blueberries, SF jelly & LF yogurt
D - Chicken fillet with pasta in a v lightly coated mushroom sauce. Individual meringue, mixed berries and FF berry Fromage Frais
We plan on having a walk over the moors this afternoon (if this early drizzle clears up!) Enjoy your day everyone!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Thanks CCP - I got through it and don't have to do it agaon till next weekend now.
I managed to be good ish yesterday - I didn't walk to the pub I drove so though I didn't exercsie I didn't have any alcohol either which is better I think. I had a beefburger with some salad and chunky chips, I ate about half the chips but nearly all the burger. Drank diet coke so that was ok. For dinner last night I had tinned toms on toast.
Got on scales this morning and have lost 2lbs :T
Wanted to lose 3lbs initially but haven't had a great week so am more than pleased.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix & banana
L - HM pitta bread pizza with DS
D - Rice and mixed veg
S - Grapes
Exercise - Exercise dvd - mate has lent me a new one so will give it a go.
My aim for this week is to lose another 2lbs, to post here every day and to exercise 3 times.

prophecy_grrl - well done on your weight loss! I well remember being in your situation when my first mariage ended and I feel for you. It does get much, much easier, although I don't think you ever get entirely comfortable with it. You just learn to get on with it and accommodate it really. The kids are thankful not to have a drama queen for a mother, and never have to know about those idle moments spent gently fantasizing about a bunch of pins and a voodoo doll of your ex, or a small windfall and a cut-price hitman
Anyway, it's the end of week five here, and I can report a loss of 3lbs :j Naturally I'm pleased with this (especially since this week has involved very little exercise and the odd foray into beer and trifle territory!), but for various reasons the forthcoming week is expected to be 'one of those weeks' and a bit unpredictable, so although I will do my best to stick to the plot as usual, my aim is to at least stay the same weight-wise rather than to lose any.
Have a good week everyoneFreddie Starr Ate My Signature

Hi all, well done to all losers!!!
I have also lost this week, another 1.5 lbs. So that makes 8.5 since the beginning of May
Pleased with that. Feeling really positive about it all at the moment. Though at this rate (1.5 lb loss for the last three weeks) when I do get a gain I'm worried I'm gonna crash and pig out
Plan today is:
b: 2 wbx nana, couple of strawbs and a few blueberries.
s: fruit if anything
l: jacket potato and beans and salad from yesterday
s: one crumpet and jam (maybe)
d: erm carvery - so may have to avoid roasties and lashings of gravyworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Ida Notion - I hope it does get easier. I'm struggling at the minute but keeping myself busy with DS and work, and reading up on all my favorite threads on here is helping. Well done on your weight loss, you're doing really well
My mam has just called to say she's coming down with a sunday lunch for DS (I'm not having one, no good for my diet) so I'm going to change my meal plan for the day and have some left over pasta that's in the fridge from Friday's picnic.*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -
morning all
had a sneaky WI this morning and am feeling a bit less traumatised than i was on friday, official WI day is next friday so fingers crossed i can keep things up.
PG, i really do feel for you, but Ida N is right, it does get easier. my ex left me after 10 yrs with ds & dd, for another women, 6 weeks before we were due to get married! that was 2 years ago and it was bl**dy tough but looking back, it was the best thing he ever did for us. just keep looking after yourself and ds xx
well, todays plan reamins as
2 x toast & wafer thin turkey
wrap with some chicken and coleslaw, cant eat much as swimming at 4pm
chilli with a few tortilla chips & maybe a glass or 2 of red.
enjoy your day xx- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Thanks vixtress - I know I'll be ok eventually but I'm still a bit shell shocked by it all. Your kind and supportive words really help though xxx*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0
