  • There is a box to tick if you want standard size instead :)
A dog is for life not just for Christmas.
    How about a rescue dog?
  • I have ordered the handbag size and paid in full by CC - surely they should honour giving free gifts otherwise that's false advertising, is it not?

Let us know (anyone) if you receive your mag with the freebies :-)

Its the monthly freebies that they don't send anymore and I don't think it says you will get those on the ad though it doesn't say you don't either. I don't know how easy it is cancelling a continuous payment authority on a cc we had a hell of a job cancelling our broadband subs on cc as they have to cancel it at their end.
  • I have done £12 subs for Easy Living, Glamour, Cosmo, Conde Nast Traveller and no free gifts, all the gifts stopped coming last year. Getting them all before that. Now there are only free tickets for shows in the Traveller one.

Very disappointing as I was amassing a great "free summer beach bag" collection!

Anyway if you live in the South East, All Wellan Good in Hatfield Galleria permanently has Benefit cosmetics for 50-70% off. Lots of eye shadows about £4 (all the time) on and off lippies, foundations and other stuff. All new and decent colours not the rubbish they couldn't flog elsewhere! Every so often they also have Elemis stuff and always seem to have Crabtree & Evelyn, Elizabeth Arden, Bedhead, Almay, Sally Hansen etc. Also tons of perfume (eg on Saturday they had Thierry Mugler for Men £87 down to £17 - this was for 2x 50ml eau de toilette).

No you dont get gifts with Marie Claire anymore when bought on a subscription. They used to send them and thats one of the reasons why i took out a years subscription. I bought mine through the Tesco club card deals which incideltly is only £3 s cheaper than this deal. In my opinion it s worth doing for £3 more and saving your club card vouchers for something else. A few months after recieving the magazine and the odd gift there was a note with one saying the free gifts were ceasing in order to keep costs down huh Not impressed lol......Ps its not one of the magazines i d buy at the full price
Just had a flyer through for Tescos 15th birthday and subscriptions are half price. www.subscription.co.uk/tescobd
using your tesco points should make it a much better deal, don't know about the freebies.
Think they had all the above mags. Would only have to spend £3 in points for them x
  • Not sure where you got this OP but I got this flyer through the post.

It does say on there that the benefit gifts are limited to the first 600 subscribers only, just so people are aware.

Just to answer a question or two about the gifts, there is a para in the terms and conditions about this:

    13 Covermounts
If any of our magazines are put on sale in the UK containing a covermount gift or a supplement, you are not guaranteed to receive these covermounts or supplements. Magazines delivered to overseas addresses may not contain covermount gifts or supplements.

Ah yes, sorry I meant the initial freebies (in this case benefit makeup) - I didn't expect that monthly freebies would come with the magazine tbh... would be nice to get the benefit goodies - lets hope we're in the first 600 subscribers! :-)

It doesn't say anywhere on the site about the first 600 subscribers (as far as i can see, but please do correct me if i'm wrong) and I had no idea about that until it was mentioned above. So if I didn't get the make-up I'd definitely be complaining to them!!
  • It now states that the Benefit gift is no longer available

Hope that means that everyone who already ordered definitely gets it then! Good luck everyone!
