I think you'll be pretty spooked as you read on and lots of what you've said is now incoporated, you are a psychic!
Is it a fruit and veg market you go to?
How much does a fresh piece of fruit work out as from there?
xxx
OO that is spooky! I try and get through the thread asap its just with boys, work (and applying for jobs), the house its just so tiring.
The market i go to is quite varied theres a few fruit and veg stalls, all with different prices.Pet stores, meat, fish, clothes and general confectionay i.e biscuits and household so there is quite a bit of choice but it is a very small market. Another stall i have just found sells material, the lady sells everything from zips, brand pillow cases for 10p:eek: all new as well, and good quality material for very very cheap.
Last week i purchased the following:-
6 x 200g boxes of cherry tomatoes for £1 (Asda(200g) = £4.91)
large head of broccoli 39p 300g (asda 79pish)
whole cucumber 39p x2 (Asda £1.96)
whole romaine lettuce 55p think it was 350 grams (asda round lettuce 55p not sure of weight)
Swede 20p 500g (Asda 44p 500g)
white grapes 69p for 1kilo (asda £1.57)
20 satsumas 50p (asda £1 for 12 satsumas based on picture on asda site)
braeburn apples 1 kilo £1 (asda £1.84)
Market price £5.11 (Asda £13.04)
Hope the above is helpful for you, i have tried to price it the best i can. HTH
That week i went i bit mad as i had extra money, i bought that lot on the Tuesday and still half of the fruit left. So its not too bad and it has been eaten at home and at school.0 -

Cornflour Mould
.
We used to call it blancemange and I think you can buy it in Mr M. it also is sometimes called table cream.
Edited to say that you can replace 1 envelope for 1oz of flour in a victoria sponge cake mix and it will give you a flavoured cake. Strawberry is yummy with strawberry jam and cream or buttercream in the middle.0 -

OK - so I guess that's a No for the recipe then.

The recipe is fine since you can choose what you put in it. Most people would have the ingredients in their cupboard. I was just putting my thoughts and memories in.0

Just about to make the chicken pie and I find that someone has stolen a chicken leg!!
No one has owned up which is unusual in this house.
We will be having an even more frugal pie than usual.
I hope it wasn't the dog!!
ETA I have pressure cooked it in lots of water for lunch and made a broth for the men, so if it was the dog they have already had some.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hey all, feel like I have fallen behind, I took a little tumble down the last few stairs in my house on Saturday and dropped my laptop which is now not working. Will mean I need to disappear mostly as I can’t get on here in my own time any more. Makes me sad (though not as sad as the thought of losing all my photographs L )
So, I shall check in when I can but this is too fast moving for me to stay on board without my own computer. Best wishes to all and Weezl I look forward to hearing all about Kester soon!
