My husband was made redundant ten months ago and hasnt had a whisper of a job since despite applying for hundreds. His entitlement to JSA finished a few months ago and he is entitled to zilch, nowt nothing. I am working all hours to keep our heads above water, beleive me its hard. What I find the most insulting thing is he still has to pay his hefty prescription fees although he has no income!!!
He has your income, that is why he doesn't get JSA. Have you looked here re prescription charges? http://www.patient.co.uk/health/Free-or-Reduced-Cost-Prescriptions.htm
