you'd be more than welcome bookie. It's a cheese topped bacon, tomato, onion and potato bake and then Pavlova. About 2 glasses of rose left in the bottle.
I think I'll be having the same tomorrow night :rotfl:(without the rose!)"Stay Wonky":D

Charlie hates fruit. He's a very discerning pooch! When he was a puppy I would try to give him a grape. He'd give it a quick suck, spit it out and then use it like a little football, he'd push it round and round with his nose

Guh. What a day already. Just found out OH has been looking into going on holiday to Lagos this summer. Lovely, you may think. But my car is on it's last legs and I'm having to shell out a load of money on that and other things. He knows all this, that every penny I have is earmarked, but yet still he wants to go on holiday? I'd have to pay for almost all of it. I feel so bad for the arsey text messages I sent (He questioned how I'm intending to go to Berlin for a weekend if I can't afford to go to Portugal for a week?) and now I'm really upset because he seems to have turned his phone off, probably understandably. But I'm so broke right now, he know it and it seems that because he has a lot of expendable income (his parents pay his rent, food and bills while he's at uni) he thinks I must have too
Don't know whether to ring him or not..

No car here - sold it when we realised DH was going to be out of action for a while, I don't drive and simply couldn't afford to keep something on the road that wasn't going to be used.
Insurance is pricey but oh soooo worth it......pity the silly girl in the car that rammed into DH didn't think it was so important......but then again she doesn't have to see the effect her bad driving has had on my family.
Not that I'm bitter
Very slow day here, DD's doing homework, DH trying to watch rugby and I'm trying to pretend I don't have ironing to do."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Thought you meant Lagos in West Africa first!!!Debt-free...and staying that way...0

CP, hes at Uni, doesnt that make him clever in some way? Sorry;).
A couple of days in Berlin is a whole lot more affordable than a week in Portugal !!!!!!. I though Lagos was Nigeria...THAT would be a Holiday from Hell!
Life in a bubble is very easy, he needs to have the real world explained to him maybe.:D stay wonky

Yes it is! Its SuzySu's fault, I just had to take Vera out ( as the roads dry and all the salt is gone....anal, moi?!) ......I got as far as Bicester and the chip shop:D:rotfl:
Then just drove around making a noise and stuffing chips
I would say 'sorry' Pepe, but it sounds as if you really enjoyed your jaunt
Have just made zero point (WWers will understand) butternut and pepper soup for lunch - lush!!
Not sure what do this afternoon. I know what I should be doing, but I'm feeling far too lazy. Still, if I stay indoors I'm less likely to spend money.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
