The global warming "hoax", probably isn't a hoax..... It's just vastly exagerrated. The earth is warming, and we're probably partly to blame, although nowhere near as much as the greeny crackpots claim.

But it's way too soon, and way too unproven, to be destroying economies over. Which is my only point in that regard.

The trueth is they have been on our streets for decades, nothing new there.. Remember the IRA, special forces, intellengence units and surveilance were all used even here in the uk. They were also used in the july bombings and suspect they are active now. Nothing to be worried about, life as normal.

We could simply deploy the yeomany again to supress riots like in the napoionic wars

This is hardly new news. The laws brought in, ostensibly, to protect us from terrorism are being used against people. The freedoms we have enjoyed are being curtailed and to a degree the terrorists have won. Flying is now a chore, people are harrassed in the streets for taking pictures, councils snoop on parents, the Police steal innocent people's DNA, people fined for feeding the ducks in the park. Bonkers. We are not anywhere near a totalitarian state but we are all treated as suspects now by one of the surliest, small minded, bureaucracies we have ever had.

They even take peoples kids away now, where they get abused in the government care system.
