Need to access my mums PC remotely

hi, I dont know if this is possible or not but thought I would ask. Right I have a PC at my house and brought my elderly mother a PC at hers (both laptops) we both use TalkTalk. Can I access her PC remotely from my house when she has a problem as trying to talk her through how to do things is proving VERY long winded so me accessing it and taking control would certainly be a good option.
IF there are any ways of doing it I would be grateful, the less she has to do would help the situation even more.
Thanks in advance for any help offered, if it cant be done no worries at least we get free phone calls (as it takes ages)
Lisa

I've used tightVNC which seems to do the job, other VNCs are avaliable

What operating system(s) are you both using?0

Use Teamviewer
It's fully secured with it's on Dyngate gateway, you can control who gets access and can do many remote things (control, presentation, filesharing, desktop) and you don't need to worry about firewallsOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

LogmeIn Free is free forever, though they do encourage you to upgrade to the paid version.

Ah right, I must have just signed up for a trial of the paid version then. That's good news because I was disapointed when it came to an end. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0

Agreed. LogMeIn is just great0

+1 for crossloop, IMHO it is one of the easiest and best ones if it has not been set up prior to the help being needed
I have used it several times and if you ever want to do paid support it is pretty easy to quote, bill and take payments via their system0
