    Yeah, I think I will wait, £270 is an awful lot of money to spend on something I don't need at all :p

    I don't understand. Why would you watch footy on a LCD monitor?? Surely a TV is better.

    Perhaps Dell looked at my link and rethought their prices ...... maybe not :P The difference is less than a tenner now between it and the phillips.

    sorry to jump in and hijack this thread but ive been looking for this monitor (or the 2005) at a decent price for a while now... i was hoping for £250 or less but this might be the cheapest its going to get....

    the older 2005 model is still going for more than this price on ebay.. why do you think we should hold off? do you know something i dont?

    It is a fact that Dell are reducing their prices in order to increase turnover, too much is sticking to the shelves, the 1st week in August should see further decent price reductions across the whole range…This was made public on the BBC finance & business news:T .

    The 2005 model is the same as the 2007 model technically .... cant say much about the different stands used.
